It is seriously not easy for someone who grew up as a single child and also first trained to be the youngest member of EXO suddenly to take the role of the eldest and the father kinda position and taking care of 22 babies..!! If not that man's heart is made of gold, it's seriously not possible for anyone to switch oneself like that. If you see Haechan as someone who's the oldest in his family, he switched from a taking care hyung to being taken care maknae of NCT. But oppositely Johnny is someone who was taken care and then suddenly given the role of taking care of others. That kind of switch is insane.

Johnny is honestly a ray of sunshine. I'm so glad we have Johnny in NCT. People may think he's a bit intimidating due to his tall figure and cold face (at times) but he is honestly one of the warmest neos. Haechan ia literally Johnny's baby in NCT. He can babied other members but he always look into Haechan. I remember when DY and HC are bickering DY ask him why you always AI din HC then JN said because his always right(HC). They really father and son vibe. Although I think many people can become amazing parents if they choose to be and are willing to deal with their own mental and emotional development all the time (there is no one "right" way to be a parent).... Johnny does seem like a natural right? He is naturally playful (playing is one of the best ways of learning and bonding) and he is also an excellent listener. Many members have mentioned how Johnny listens to them and they feel very comfortable talking about whatever with him.... Sounds like some amazing ingredients for any relationship in his life. He reminds me a lot of my little brother so I have always felt that kind of affection for him and my brother is an awesome dad :D

Johnny is really very good hyung. He maybe intimidating because of his height and strength but he is a real softie especially to his members. It is so easy for him giving compliments to them. He makes them laugh and he just adores the members. I think if Taeyong was not the leader he can be a good leader too. He makes them comfortable and he gives his time and attention to them.

We normally see Doyoung and Taeyong as NCT's moms, Taeil as grandpa and Jaehyun as another dad, but whenever they're with Johnny they look so small and cute. I mean i'm glad that they have someone to lean on and to allow themselves to be small. Johnny's dynamic with Haechan is genuinely like...not quite like he's Haechan's actual dad, but more like his much older sibling that their parents relied on really heavily to help out when Haechan was young, so it's like he basically raised Haechan himself even though he's not his real parent? 😭 Idk that's a messed up description but it's just the vibe I get when I see their interactions. 😅
