Why is nobody talking about the amazing, primal yell he does at the end? In that moment he let out all of his emotions and without telling him anything, let Klaus know how much he hurt him. Taron did an excellent job portraying this.

I loved how Ryan (the tiger dancer) was so supportive of Johnny, and genuinely was pleased with his progress. He's great.

One of the most iconic scenes of all time. "You will never be great, Johnny" brings me to tears every time. The teacher is the ultimate challenge to rise against. This is the moment that Johnny defines himself.

It might only be a small scene but I love how his dad is like "That's my boy" sounding so proud of him compared to the first movie where he didn't support his dreams. Awesome development right there!

I love this scene always. In every single movie, johnny always has a mentor. First it was that lizard lady(forgot her name) then he tried finding it in that monkey but couldn't and found it in his friend. He just needs people to push him and show him how great he already is. In a way the monkey is right, johnny won't be great until he realizes he is without mentors and friends.

I love how Nooshy the street dancer has just been added to the theatre family, yet she's already encouraging, and standing up for them. How all of the background performers stand with Johnny !! I love it

That scream that Johnny does at the end is just.... ugh! It is gut wrenching in the best way! I think something that is enormously damaging is when a teacher---- someone whose job it is to impart knowledge---- tells you that you're hopeless. Not only do you feel small, you are made to feel like you're so awful that you can't even be taught. I learned far too late in life that some teachers arent in the job because its their calling, amd therefore grow to resent said job, and then take it out on their students. Johnny's scream at his teacher is so powerful. He knows his worth because he already knew it himself, but also was lucky enough to find the right teacher. By far my favorite moment in Sing 2.

That tiger on the back is the best for give johnny a respect by joining that one part

One thing I and probably most others can agree on is that in both sing movies Johnny has one of if not the best arcs of all the other characters

This scene really hits me because I had a teacher who emotionally abused me. And I was in elementary school. I was taught that teachers are to guide you, inspire you, and lead you to make smart choices. I was bullied by my own teacher, and I was always afraid to go to school. And when I needed that self confidence they teared me apart. And I so badly wanted to shout why? The teacher inspired, guided and did all the things I needed too. See, I have autism spectrum disorder and back then no one had a confirm answer of what it was. But from elementary school to 7th grade I lost the ability to trust teachers all because of that one. And I so badly want to take that high school diploma and show it to that teacher. And tell to their face: “Remember when you said I was stupid? And that I will never make it pass said grade or even get to high school if I was lucky? Well, YOU WERE WRONG.” What saved me was in 8th grade I met a teacher that was basically a therapist too. And they were horrified at my elementary school tale. That teacher I want to give them and hug and tell them: “Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for never giving up on me. And thank you for rebuilding the trust of a teacher and a student. I have never once thought less of you. Forgotten, or even have one poor thing to say.” So, I know what Johnny is going through with this dance teacher. People learn differently. Not everyone is going to get it right the first time. Mrs. Crawley even gave him one on one teaching. She was a patience and caring lizard.~

I like how he earned the teachers respect at the end shows such a powerful message that even people that hate you can have a heart

I just love this scene and as a someone who 25 years old, I find Johnny’s emotional expressions are much more real than many real life movies

Can we appreciate how precise each of those strikes were? One inch closer, on any of them, would've caused serious injury. Or death! Or to appreciate that the other dancers had had enough of Klaus's narcissistic abuse!

You know, I like that pigs professionalism. Boss is like I want to get there now, and he's just yes sir. No questions, no complaining, just yes sir. Then puts the pedal to the fucking metal and gets him there.

After watching the scene I was so full energy from all that hype afterwards

The moment she started drumming, and then the unison of the sticks hitting the ground, the vibe reminded me so much of Tarzan. Gorillas, the king of the jungle! ❤

The only complaint i have about this is Klaus goes from having both Staves to just one, and we NEVER see what happened to the other one. The movie is about stage performances, scene consistentcy is important damnit!

Nooshy's drumbeat gives me more hype than it is possible.

The ring formation and pounding of the sticks reminds me of my baton training in the USAF. the ring consisted of fellow airmen holding football defensive practice bags and plastic batons and randomly they would come in one at a time and we had to use the baton efficiently and correctly to keep the approaching bag back. And when they weren't advancing, they would be pounding their bags in tempo like this to encourage the Defender. It was actually fun

Of course we can throw blame for being the devil but what happened at the end? Johnny achieved his stardom everyone can recognize. Sure it was hard and difficult and seems like everything was against Johnny but how many chances he got after going on stage? Non, just one theres no in-between The Best and The Failure
