I am watching it now. A bonus on a Labor Day and a time very much worth spending for me. Mr. Jason, you listened to me which I very much appreciate from the bottom of my heart.
Nice to see you back with some CCT info. To Joseph, incremental output is a binary output thats is just a open/close, on/off type of output that varies the time that is is on to control the valve, proportional is a analog output to varies from 4-20ma or 0-10 volts to control a proportional type actuator.
I love this video, your programs look a little easier to navigate vs tgp and tgp2. I like that you can see what controls the outputs so easily. It would definitely help the troubleshooting process.
Thanks for JC CCT Basics. I appreciate your time and effort which was useful for me. Thank you. I will go back and see some of your other videos. It is of GREAT help to me. Thanks Mr. Jason.
Thank you for your time and effort you are putting to make those videos. I found it very helpful and valuable to me. It would be very cool if you can show us how to make schedule based on the run-time (lead lag chillers for example). thanks again.
These vidoes are so valuable thanks again ! I was wondering if you could make a video on setting up a FEC for just a constant air hot water heating coil with a control vavle on it ? Im use to doing JCI vma1832 programs but its diffrent when you just have a heating coil with constant air and no damper.
Great refresher and you explain things better. How does a guy know where the program is at? If an actuator isn't opening and it's below setpoint and the damper operation has been verified. The exhaust damper is just sitting there? some trouble shooting tips? thank you.
@@Systemcontroltech So commission into the controller and watch the logic block or state tables change or not? I could change the vav from heating mode to cooling mode and the output block just sat there.
This is an older video but I have a question about CCT. After I go to transfer and upload program, it will load to 100% and say successfully transfered to computer, but it will stay at johnson controls screen and load and never pull up the program. Is there anything I need to try? My Map tool seems to be communicating with the controller, something in CCT seems to be messing up. I’m an on CCT 10.2 and the main code version in controller is 6.2
You may try reinstalling CCT. Upgrade to the latest version if possible. I've seem that happen with 10.2 when controller was at a newer version but not sure about older version in the controller. If it's just this device you're having issues with try to get upgraded cct.
I'm looking for someone to do some mods to our existing Metasys plant automation software. Our local Johnson Control office is beyond painful to deal with and I need to move a couple projects forward. If you've got those chops and would like some consulting work, hit me up.
I am a Honeywell WEBs N4 and AX software programmer in the NYC area and would like to thank you for putting these excellent videos out. I wanted to email you but your link to your blog is no good. Is there a site that I can contact you on?
90% of the Acronyms that JCI uses I'm familiar with, at times though in the CCT programming there will be an acronyms that I do not know......is there a JCI acronyms page or list somewhere? Thanks, John
Greetings from Miami. Great video. This may not be the right tutorial to ask you abouts NAE emails configuration. Do you have a video on how to create a gmail account into your metasys engine. Thanks
You should be able to add your email to the user account in your system for a particular user. There are different functions that can be done and reports that can be generated and sent to the email address depending on how you use your system.
Hello, can you help me? I have metasys ADS system and it says my NAE is offline and gets a red "x". What do I do? it shows a pop up that (flash usage) is full at 141%. How do I delete it ?? And when I log into the database manager it says it's corrupted.
@@Systemcontroltech perhaps to have a video when you have to remove a controller from the tree then the graphics has to be updated for the divice that you are replacing to. Thanks
We actually don't use any NIE integrator anymore. There are a lot of things that play into this. We once used the Sigs to integrate with a barbor colmen system before completely converting it over.
@@Systemcontroltech Okay. Would love to see a video on integrating MIG with third party devices using Modbus or BACnet. It will surely help to get an idea about configuring, downloading .vct files and assigning addresses to them.
