I have noticed that the Chinese really go all out for stage presentations. At this point, all I can do is wait for Dimash to send me to musical euphoria and hope that my heart will return to my body. If you want to see something different and more lowkey(by Dimash standards that is) I recommend checking out the 'vocalise' version of "Know" that's on his channel, his improvisations are always fascinating(and he does a lot of them throughout his concerts), and the performance itself is very enchanting and intimate.

Dimash has done many collaborations with other singers, many different styles too. Swan Goose with Tengri who was on I Am Singer 2018. They have Mongolian throat singers on it too. Is a particular favourite but he has sung with opera singers, rap artists even a sort of hologram singing Jasmine, I think.

Dimash doesn't overpower other singers, even though he easily could. He wants them to have their shine too. There are several duets out there, & they are all beautifully done. Dimash is 29, Wei Wei is 60. I've just discovered a S. Korean quartet called Forestella who are very good. They are a crossover group, not kpop.

Usually Dimash remains carefully bland in duets so as to not hurt egos or overpower others. Dimash has always been one to see himself as part of a whole performance, NOT the performance. I suspect that Wei Wei was successful/confident enough to allow for Dimash to go all out. It was a nice change. 👍❤️👍 Wei Wei sang so beautifully but you can see how badly winded she is at the end. Panting through her professional stage smile.. Sure wish he was signalling an alien ship. We sure could use another super power. ❗Evolving, no. Maturing voice, yes. As an undergrad he majored in jazz, pop and Broadway music, a stage animal, it's second nature to him. Many forget he was barely 22 in the videos they 1st saw, now 29. Growing older, the vocal chords change, the male voice naturally deepens in timbre. Since before puberty, he's remained in individualized training and at least 3 hours daily practice to retain and maintain his pre adolescent high range through his voice change and strengthen it and develop his lower tones as his voice matures. Nothing but room temp beverages since age 16 to protect his vocal chords. Easy and fun huh ? Yikes !
