Hello everyone and welcome back to my channel. Today I’m back with another Sunday sewing catch up. This week it’s episode 102.

Best wishes for a smooth surgery and good recovery for Ruby. I’m glad you have crochet to focus on and keep your hands busy in the hospital. The granny square with the raspberry border is definitely the winner in my opinion.

You must have sprinkled joy everywhere you went, such a colourful family. Personally I love the unicorn. That's one of the best things about making your own clothes being able to make it a one off to represent your personality and tastes. I hope Ruby's operation is a complete success and wishing them a speedy recovery 😊🦄🌈

My friend’s daughter had this surgery, it was a great success,it’s been several years and she is doing wonderful, I’ll be praying for Ruby and you all during this very busy time.

Great vlog, love your green dress, that colour went really well with skirt as well. I like the third choice in you crochet squares, as you say none of the colours are fighting. Hope that Ruby’s surgery goes well and she recovers quickly x

I am reminded of a sweater made by my mother many (50 +) years ago. It was cream, green and red … the back ground was cream, the neckband and hem band were green and the motif was a red apple! I loved it and got many compliments. Wish I knew what became of that sweater.

Hi Liz! I went to my fabric shop to buy crochet needles and yarn, BUT I don't know how to crochet in. I saw what you had around your neck, the snood, and I love it. Do you recommend any channels to watch to learn how to crochet?

Hiya my son had multiple surgeries at Stanmore for scoliosis.He had sliding rods which had to be extended every 3 months as his curve was too aggressive after 3 years of bracing. He had those changed twice and final fusion at 15. Kids are so resilient it's very daunting but hopefully she will have a great outcome. I took x stitch with me and didn't do a stitch lol xx

You are such an efficient crafter! I am always impressed by how much you do every week (even when you say that you didn't have a lot of time)! I really like your colorful makes, it's very inspiring. I like the atelier scammit patterns, she has tutorials on youtube so if instructions are not clear you can also have a look at her video. The english translation of the pattern name is shepherd. Hope Ruby's surgery will go well

Good luck to Ruby and your family on the upcoming surgery, as you say although its going to be a long process it will be worth it in the long run. Obviously take as long as you need, I'll look forward to your return. I would go with the last combination for your granny square. All the best, take care ❤

I am so glad Ruby has a date for her surgery.I am a subscriber and even if you took plus six months away from you tube I will be here when your back.Your daughter comes first so take as much time as you need.I should think Lola will need your support too. Out of your three crochet squares I like the third one best.Before you decide I think the third combination would look better with the raspberry in the centre and the red on the outside.Another suggestion would be to choose a duller red. Whatever you decide I know it will be fab.

I love that you sew with cotton poplin. I hardly hear of it these days on RU-vid but there's area so many beautiful fabrics! A round up of patterns suitable for poplin would be super useful. All the best to Ruby!

So sorry Ruby has to have back surgery. I’m glad you will have your crochet to help you when she’s sleeping, it will help your stress. I felt stress when my daughter had surgery but of course I didn’t want her to know and doing cross stitch really helped me. I will be praying for all of you especially Ruby. Will look forward to your return as I really enjoy your vlogs.
