The remaster animator here! This was great, haha, and thank you so much for the kind comments on the new video! In terms of technology, the original was made with Source Filmmaker (2011), while the remaster was made in Source 2 Filmmaker (2020) - so there's basically a decade's jump in overall graphical fidelity, and as you said, the tools are indeed a lot easier and faster to use now. Glad you liked it! =D I actually have a little behind the scenes breakdown on how some of it was made on my channel if you're interested. ;)
The new one did reference a lot more about the game because the first one actually came out before the game did. Great reaction. Most people focus on the song, which is great, but I like how you focus on the visuals.
