Another great video. New subscriber here, having just discovered your channel a few weeks ago. Loving your content from over here in London. Also, Lawrence Carpenter and Francis Cade about to ride into Singapore... could be a great collab!
In Melbourne a normal start is get up at 5am, leave home 5:15am, meet the gang at 5:50, roll out at 6am, ride for 2 to 3 hours, summer or winter no matter the weather. 6 days a week.
That bikeshop I don't know. But I know most of them in Chiang Mai. Where is it? By the way, the food was too expensive 😂 Have you ever been at Luis' bike cafe: Cycling Chiang Mai. He is from spain. He also makes a bit youtube.
Been watching your travel videos since the bike packing video. I’m also travelling this year and I e also purchased the same bike bag as you have. It would be great to have a video on bike travelling from your experience. Travelling tips, tools and spares you bring, dealing with check-in, baggage limits etc. also, do you have dietary needs? If so, do you bring along or try to source at destination. Would be great if you could share your experience
Thanks for following my videos! I do feature these aspects in various videos, but maybe they are a bit scattered and not all-in-one, so thanks for the idea maybe I will do a consolidated video specifically for traveling with bike soon. In the meantime you can check out my first video for my Chiang Mai trip if you haven't, there is some information there. I don't have any particular hard dietary restrictions, so generally I'd say source at destination. Most modern places have everything these days and airline baggage weight is precious
@@thewinsty thanks for the reply. That’ll be great to have a consolidated video. I’ll look forward to that. My main dietary concern really is on bike fuelling. I tend to make my own food like rice cakes and my own gels. I usually ride solo so having a bad stomach on a long ride isn’t what I wanna plan for. I also only stop for coffee and don’t really eat other than my own. I guess it’s easy enough to bring my own supplies if there is capacity within my baggage limit. My first trip is to the Philippines so I have 30kg😁. My other main concern is running tubeless🤔
