I will confess - I don't understand the Cartel's logic - if a domestic attack on the USA is found to have orginated with Cartel support, won't that mean that the border will be heavily militarized, to a degree that would make smuggling nigh-impossible? Wouldn't it risk the US government treating Mexico as part of the War on Terror, with a heavily militarized presence?
They thing is that the US would still focus on the "War on Terror" rather than the "War on Drugs". The cartels know that all it takes for their own income to be decimated is either the US legalizing/decriminalizing drugs, or pulling its troops from overseas and sending them to Mexico. The latter would mean that every operation the US had in the middle east has to stop including funding. So cartels need to ensure that the US keeps itself busy overseas rather than the southern border and they know that the only real way the US would go after the cartels would be through actual war with Mexico. Going to war with Mexico in order to stop cartels isn't exactly going to be perceived well by the US, Mexico, or the rest of the world.
The US won’t risk to start a war with a neighbor, the war will end up spilling over to the US. Plus, the mexican-american border is one of the longest in the world, keeping all of that constantly militarized will be extremely challenging and expensive.
Valeria doesn't intend to ally herself longterm with the terrorists. Her plan was to assist the terrorists in a major attack to take heat off of the Cartel. If the US starts going after the Cartel and it ends up hurting their profits, she can always just stop helping the terrorists and the US won't go after her anymore. Well, the US would probably still go after her. But they can't justify funneling a ton of anti-terrorism resources on the Cartel if it's not actually stopping any terrorism.
They base majority of things of real life things and events. Stories etc. They scanned the voice actors face into the game so the characters look like the person voicing them. If you want to know what ghost REALLY looks like without the mask entirely, look up Samuel Roukin. He's the guy who voiced the 2022 ghost. That's the face under the masks. Even when they did the table event and made ghost team and each one grabbed a ghost mask.
I really like the difference between Valeria and Diego. Valeria is a cold, calculating psychopath. She is extremely nonchalant and even her screaming threats towards that soldier were hollow, just a frustrated violent womanchild who has a gun and didn't get what she wanted. Diego has nothing psychologically wrong with him and IMO that is more terrifying. He genuinely loves being part of the cartel. He looks right through you with wild eyes because he wants you to piss and shit yourself before he tears you limb fromb limb. He's genuinely scared of Valeria, and for a minute he drops the human nightmare act when talking with a cellar boy before going right back to haunting your restless dreams.
I’m from Mexico and it really represents the reality of the cartel. Diego represents the people that are on the cartel because of the money, they really like being there but are not really crazy. Valeria represents the crazy people that are there because of the power and loves making bad things, the money doesn’t matter at all for them
@@papafedu5433 I saw similar things in the raid movies, and Indonesia has large cartels too. They actually have legit business and government connections that come from the old Suharto family, when Indonesia was the most corrupt country in the world.
Did you know that Nunez was actually in that mission where you jumping cliff to cliff, you can’t see him but you can hear him and you can see his name in the subtitle in red
just in case any one is wondering . you don't die from a knife throw to the chest immediately. as a mater of fact a knife thrown at someone on the chest would result in a lot of screaming ,blood and possibly the person firing back until he bleeds out (if he does at all) PEople nor animals drop dead like in video games or movies.people can take a bullet to the head from a smaller caliber gun and still last long enough to shoot back at you a couple of times depending where the bullet hits .there is no instant dead , even after dead bodies twitch and move and they may continue to breathe for several minutes even after shot on the head. Also silencers.. lmao. it amuses me how a silence gun can shoot someone right next to another guard and he does not hear it. a gun makes a lot of noise, even with a silencer it would be heard by the whole house . just about 70% less loud .
Im tired of you people complaining always about something not being 100 percent realistic, then if you die once in game throw the CD in the fucking trashbin and dont replay mission, you know why? Because in real life there wouldnt be repeat you're dead mooo fooo..
@@dankovukusic7968 you can be realistic without going over board. throwing a knife at someone and instant killing them is stupid , specially when it take several shots from a fire arm.
They really outdid themselves with this game. The depiction on the slang used by my mexican people is strong and it shows they got the right actors for the roles.
Fyi - this is exactly how the cartel looks or act. They did get one thing wrong though… the police is the cartel, and the cartel the police. Even if they seem they’re enemies, they are still the same team, and do it to prevent any ideas. I was born in Mexico and come from a place where they move a lot.
Am I the only one confused that Las Almas is suddenly a city full of skyscrapers and looking a bit like Los Angeles or some other similair looking city? It just looks vastly different from when it was introduced.
This game feels like going back to the gold times of cod after Cold War and Vanguard destroyed the series. I think this is what they wanted to do with this game
But Danny Trejo was missing es el ese mero The well-armed Mexican superhero with his trusty machete and his deadly mustache pa' cautivar a las marías si señor !!!
Not going to lie i dont really speak Spanish but i feel like some of the words dont match up with what they are saying. Like i know the bad words. An i dont see them lol.
