Just done 25m2 using Joint It mate, piss easy to use just slightly expensive. I’ll send you some photos on instagram 👍🏼

Yeh I thought it was easy too and definitely not as messy as slurry grout and didn’t need any hazing cleaning either 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Just done my patio with this. 40 sqm with the manual gun was a killer on the old hands but so stress free. You dont even have to scrape it for the most part, the excess just peels off. TIDY 👌

How many tubes did you use for 40m2?

Looks good but not sure how it will hold up over time. At least with the slury stuff like flow point you know the mix is getting right down into all the gaps between the pavers and not just floating on top.

I’ve seen a video of a high pressure washer blasting a piece of 4x4 post rips it to bits them over the grout and didn’t budge a inch 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Hi, I’m new to your channel and have been viewing a number of your videos. Thanks for the effort and time, I know it is hard word producing them but information presented is invaluable, particular to us DIYs. I’m looking at laying down porcelain slabs 40sqm and all the discussion regarding grout choice is interesting. The suppliers of the slabs recommend Joint-it. How do you think it compares to staintec you posted a few months before this vid? What would be your grout of choice?

For the DIY’er I’d say steintec as it’s no fuss but the grout does settle slightly but no big deal glad I’ve been of help 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

i can see it been useful on upstands and cladding etc but fuck that for a lark on say 90m2

90m2 nope get the slurry out but this one was only 20m2 and the clean up process was the best no mess 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

It’s ok for smaller areas but what was nice was knowing the clean up is easier and just to keep it real the customer didn’t like the colour so it was only a small test area covered we’re gonna use that brush in steintec stuff screw the slurry I hate it to stressful 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

@@jaspermillerlandscaping6174 so far that steintec stuff is by far the best but does settle 2/3 mm short of the top but when it arrives on Tuesday hopefully I’ll use it and also top it up level hopefully that’s the plan 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

The joints need to be dry for a starter and it’s definitely not stressful you could do it in the middle of a hot summers day 30+ degrees no problem try that with another type of slurry grout 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Looks a lot less stressful to me 👍👍👍 wpould you say laying porcelain tiles is best on a concrete base or type1 scalpings .. we have this on going debate 😂
@tidybrickslandscaping
@tidybrickslandscaping 10 месяцев назад
concrete in the states type 1 over here in the Uk seems to be the debate I hear a lot 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
@adamtucker117
@adamtucker117 3 месяца назад
Uk here, type 1 or scalps would be preferred as long as they're compacted well. Helps with setting the levels and draining water if the grout is permeable or there is imperfections. On a concrete base, moss and mould will grow easier and any imperfections in the jointing or laying will simply blow the jointing out or get under the slab. Water always finds a way

You beat me to it mate, I’m going to use it on my next patio. Sick of Flowpoint and the stress. Do you mind if I forward this vid onto my client?
@tidybrickslandscaping
@tidybrickslandscaping 10 месяцев назад
Go for it you could do it in the middle of summer with no issues like the slurry grouts Stress free bit slow but clean up wins hands down and hopefully more colours coming soon 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Looks $$$ and slow to me, if two guys can’t grout 120m in a day that I mean 6hrs the old way with a float and easy buckets there’s something wrong, plus this won’t fill up all the voids. Hope your well over there, hello from Australia 🇦🇺

So much wastage, shame you cant scrape it instantly once, and put the waste back in the tube. leaving very little waste the next day.
