Ralph's first album was done mostly by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Ill take them over practically anyone. The 2nd album, while enjoyable, thats where Devante would have surely come in handy for. Ralph didnt do any solo work again until what.....2006 or so.

I imagine, he has a great memory and once he’s heard the script he will memorize it. BUT, if there are any major changes in the dialogue or the script and he’s asked to make changes right on the spot, he is exposed as being semi literate. Actors don’t necessarily have to have hone to Juliard but an actor has to be very literate and enjoys reading books.
