Whats even funnier is that this kind of bland 'edgy' sound has been around since the late 1990's. Back in those days, there was an entire army of pop-princesses "being dark and edgy" with the same type of songs. And they all had the same aesthetic, too. black leather/spandex, glitter, gloomy atmosphere.....its sooooo tired
She swear she being so revolutionary……. but it’s giving trying way too hard. And she not doing what she swear she doing. Plus the song is not even an original 😭😭😭😭😭.
@@horrorgamestv6564 ooooh someone found out a thing. and stop overusing the word 'literally'. It makes people sound stupid when they might be saying something of value.
@InnerAtanih She did. Just because they added a cut post recording doesn't mean she didn't do it. She was probably a millisecond late, so they added a cut. Clearly, you never edited anything or had to flip into choreo. Expecting someone to perfectly flip in choreo is wild. Jojo is not that great, but she definitely killed that part.
That's not new at all. That's just part of the music industry. Writers will write with a specific singer in mind, try to sell it to them, and then get rejected and have to shop it around. She didn't try to update it at all though.
If you are going to post an opinion, make sure it is one you formed yourself because while it looks like you made a point...you didn't. Whitney Houston, Mariah, Aretha....they all sang songs written and released by others, at some point. Aretha didnt write "Natural woman" Celine Dion barely writes her own songs. .Whitney had a nr1 with " I'm every woman", the list goes on. Form an opinion based on your observations-not your ignorance.
@@roddo1955 my thing is this : Jojo went around in interviews saying that she wrote the song , even saying , “ when I wrote the song “ making it seem like the song , lyrics , and everything was all from her own mind . even tho it credits Brit smith on Spotify under the credits ( im more than sure it does ) , she’s prancing around making it seem like she wrote the song herself when it’s just a glorified cover with only one word changed
I’m pretty sure he meant Nacho Libre, he even put a meme of the movie. It is about lucha libre of course but the reference he used was the Jack Black movie.
20 is barely out of your teens. It feels "old" when you are still maturing. But there is still a lot of maturing taking place after 20. I find that people develop their identity after the age of 25. Until then, its a scramble of figuring out who one is. 20 is still a kid
@@MsCarringtonsRU-vid its not fraudulent. Writers sell their songs to studios, who give it to artists. You really think Aretha Franklin released ONLY original songs? You must be very young and unaware.
no. we cannot. it has been mentioned in every video about her. What more do you want to "talk' about? Shares and likes? because that's all you're getting.
i feel like the choreo looked better without her doing it, i guess shes a trained dancer but not this type lol outside of that flip into the choreo she not hittin it lol
When you said it sounds like 2011. Its actually a song from 2012 by a woman called Brit Smith and was produced by Timerland (but was unreleased) So you were bang on! 🤣
Wow! Really? Wow! you are one of the many people who said that! People are SO smart these days. Its like they know EVERYTHING! I wish I knew this stuff. I only know because its been mentioned all the time by others-who are very smart and know a lot.
I think they were on the boat & beach cause there was drama with her and her ex when they went on a cruise to the Bahamas. I’m also really disappointed in myself for knowing this
As a lesb!an I dont live for this Zach. The lyrics are tired. The song is tired. Very 2010s. Cant believe she said she is doing something different than the other pop girlies😂 Jojo is trying too hard to get attention and that comes across as obnoxious. I thought she would have been a bit mature since I watched her on Dancing with the Stars, but no. She will turn 21 this year so I will give until 25 so see a different JoJo. Right now, hella obnoxious and its tiring.
Like J-Lo scrambling for pennies with her amazon prime "fakeumentary". Because when she's implicated in the Diddy investigation, nobody is gonna be checking for her.
Yes Zach, the song sounds tired because it is. She basically copied and pasted an unreleased song from 2012 for an artist named Brit Smith and I believe it was originally recorded by Miley Cyrus
