Going back to that scene, though, couldn't they use their stand BS to weaponize the bees? If they had a silk touch tool to pick up full bee hives, Dio could stop time when one of their enemies does a wide area attack (likely Kakyoin, of course) and place a bunch of full bee hives in the way of the attacks. When time unpauses, the hives get destroyed releasing a combined several dozen angry bees that will try to attack whoever destroyed the hives... maybe not a super strong weapon, but still useful nonetheless. Young Speedwagon's thinking is too linear, not used to Stand BS I guess.

@@MiniMidas375 not just that. They could just have KQ put bombs on the bees before hand. That way even if the bees themselves are weak he can detonate them when they get close to the crusaders

haven't watched the anime much but if this really is his most efficient use of time stop then I am pretty disappointed, also is there like hard limit to for how long he can stop time?

@@Cookiekopter there is a limit but he uses 99% of the timestop to laugh at jotaro and dig his fingers into his skull

@@Cookiekopter He's joking. Dio does fuck around a lot but he has used his time stop rather well. Also no there is no limit to his timestop. Unlike most stand abilities, timestop takes a toll on the user as well. It strains the heart if I remember correctly but since Dio is an immortal vampire with a healing factor as he progresses he can stop time for longer and longer. At first it was half a second, than the normal five seconds and then 10 and so on and so forth.

To be fair to them, enough bees could kill the wither with sheer numbers, so theoretically they could lay a trap filled with a ludicrous amount of bees and then use their stand abilities to make the bees even more dangerous. Dio could stop time to move them closer to the crusaders, Kira could turn a few bees into bombs, and Diavolo could skip time so that the crusaders receive even more stings without being able to react.
