Joker is not a person, it's a mentality, a virus like, which makes people do what they want to, when society gives up on them ! The director used "musical" as a way to describe the love that arthur fleck felt when he meets harley but as the end leaves him with NO LOVE, he just shatters again & at one point he even mentions harley to stop singing, which protrays the feeling of Arthur's meltdown .. He's then left with NOTHING & as we approach the end, it's shown how he's just given up on everything .. It was all a way to protray the sadness & emptiness in him ..

What i liked about the film is uske visuals, set pieces, and actors ki performance, i have not watched much musicals but merko yeh film ka musical acha laga and best part toh joker ko dance karte hue dekhna tha but what's holding this film from becoming a master piece is iski kharab writing and screen play, movie ka naam joker h but we dont get to see a joker we expect and if u notice entire court room scene mai harvey and joker ka ek bhi interaction nahi h and the film was a disappointment due to its bizzare ending and kaafi bekaar writing

Joker 2 is a good movie agar aap struggle se relate karte ho toh ya usko character ke through experience karte ho ..but jo flow break kar raha tha woh tha iska musical wala part ..kai logo ko isiliye movie acchi nahi lag sakti par movie arthur ko ek closure deti h

This is how you review a movie according to how the director wanted to show you not how you wanna see in the movie. This might be a bad movie overall but talking about it as it is trash is quite harsh. As aman bhai said this movie is just like an art

I know it's not upto 1st part but after watching the reviews of joker 2 I watched it with low expectation but I quite like the movie not as much as joker 1 but still it wasn't that disappointed to me

I like the musical theme of the movie, in the first half the music vibe was on the happy side. Along with the 2nd part, the music got tense. Also, it's a bit challenging to show the gravity of the scenes and I think Tod Phillips did that perfectly. I will rate this 7/10 on a good day.

It wasn't about Joker it never was, It's all about the tragedy of Arthur Fleck

I liked the movie, a lot, and I might be in minority for that. You might be the only reviwer who shared his opinions in a positive light whilst highlightning the negatives. Since musicals are my cup of tea, this one was right under my alley. One of the coutroom scene was the most impactful for me **SPOILER WARNING** where Joker interacts with the midget and the way he describes his trauma after witnessing Arthur kill one of their coworkers and makes him realise that despite him sparing his life, he scarred him for his life. This was the moment where Joker looses, and Arthur decides to not defend himself for his crimes and ready for his punishment. This was one such powerful moment people neglect while judging this movie and there are many such moments that makes you empathise with Arthur's state in prison and his mental illness. (Joker's ideology is to take back control from society and act as the judge and jury, and this revelation breaks down all the delusions he had and even the 'Joker' persona looses all its power over Arthur)
