I love how this shows how SMART Joker can be. He manipulates Sweet Tooth to get out of the mech to kill him personally, only to take the win himself. He may be insane, but he is very clever. He is Batman's archenemy for a reason.
Joker: *Is in a weaponised car that has a 60mm cannon, several missile launchers, an EMP, a hijacking virus and a powerful gattling gun* Also Joker: *Opens window to shoot a Tommy Gun*
@@ryu-sakai1018 Nah, the problem is Joker doesn’t really have and good match ups, the most likely option DB would is Green Goblin, but that also is a meh matchup
The speech Joker gives before Needles steps out of the Sweet Tooth is the moment that to this day that sends chills down my spine and perfectly sums up the Joker’s character. An individual that is far more sinister than his appearance lets on. He’s sinister, he’s chaotic, down right crazy and most importantly he’s VERY good at manipulating others to side with him. All of this just to bring everyone together for one sick, cruel joke that is more evil than funny. And the fact that he’s incredibly unpredictable and a clever schemer makes him one of the greatest villains in comic book history, not just Batman or even DC.
As he is that the loss of Sweet Tooth is literally plot armor. Sweet Tooth would kill Joker in his bot while Joker is monologuing. If not that he’d hop out and cut off Joker’s head. I love both but this battle was bs still fun though.
It’s because there’s a whole story here, tons of emotion, and you really feel the characters’ personalities. Good writing can always outweigh good graphics.
@@PolyGrid625 Unfortunately, Harley’s psychosis and manipulation abilities are still a major slide from Joker’s, in spite of all that time she spent with him. So, that’s a fairly huge reason why she lost to that Jinx lady. (Since I don’t know Jack about League of Legends, every time I say Jinx, I think of the hex casting villain from Teen Titans, but that’s a different conversation.)
Yeah the IRS they can send Joker away to a real prison instead of Arkham Asylum because Tax Evasion is one those crimes you can not use the insanity defense even by Gotham's corrupt judicial system.
I imagine it's a mix of she doesn't have the skill/presence/the right target and experience Joker has. Remember that Joker is in a league capable of making himself the one and only true rival to *THE ONE AND ONLY BATMAN* .
Ngl this entire fight made me laugh so much since joker was being a comedian throughout it. The part where he says Now that’s funny! And gets bitchslap has to be one of the best funny moments
This fight easily shows the charm of joker, Someone who could be defeated so easily but always comes out on top because of his unpredictability and manipulative ways.
He got Sweet Tooth to leave his mech. He played to ST's insanity. Something the Joker knows all about. However, the Joker isn't as invested in that feeling. He killed if he think it might funny. He couldn't care less about that high ST gets when killing.
Yeah but that wouldn’t ever work in real life lol people would just kill you because this isn’t a cartoon. At the same time the joker would do better in a real fight because he wouldn’t be playing with his enemy so much.
@@jessejive117 looking back at this I was wanking joker massively. Sweetooth definitely would’ve killed the mf instantly. And ur right it would favor him even more irl because joker won’t have his obsidian plot armor.
I mean... Needles Kane's whole MO is that he likes to kill people in as gruesome and personal a way as possible. Even if Joker hadn't said anything, Needles would have probably gotten out of the SweetBot just so he could skin Joker alive before gutting him like a fish. Needles likes what Joker likes: savoring all the little emotions as he watches the other person die. I've played all the Twisted Metal games, so I can say with certainty that all Joker really did at that point was get Needles to lower his guard a bit before delivering his Joker Venom.
no joker just manipulated him i mean the joker manipulates bane all the time & takes out OP dudes like grundy who can beat superman like they are trash! needles had 0 real chance
"Well, that was fun. Who's for Chinese?" Amazing line, but even better when you know he says that after cremating a man alive, and throws a funeral for him during the act.
GNN: this just in: the body of notorious serial killer, Marcus "needles" Kane has been recovered outside gotham city mall. Eyewitnesses say he was seen battling the joker in what could only be described as "a twisted metal show down between two killer clowns". However. Reports from GCPD have stated that the joker's body or whereabouts are unknown. leaving people to wonder if both clowns had killed each other or if the clown prince is still outthere. More at five
5 years later and I still absolutely love whoever voiced Joker for this. It's almost sounds like they got Mark Hamill to voice for this because it sounds scarily like the way he voiced Joker for the cartoon
and that was the point where it should have ended. those missiles could blow up tanks, i don't think that needle's icecream wagon could take even one of those
My issues is...Joker isn't a FIGHTER. He knows when should NOT brawl, under any circumstances. (Unless it's against Batman, *obviously*, and only 'cause he knows neither person WILL kill each other, so....it's learning! And crazy.) So just brawling with a dude? Naw, he's sussing out the situation, and then realizing "Ew, no, I'll pay a bunch of people to fight this guy, until my plan is done. Or I'm arrested again, oh *darn*." Joker has a WILEY streak to him, is what I'm sayin'. Sweet Tooth is brutal, but Joker actually has a BRAIN on the battlefield, so I'm still gonna say Joker wins this one. I mean, even in the Nolan-Universe, he realizes "This is dumb, use a rocket launcher". Meanwhile, Sweet Tooth woulda kept down that tunnel, hoping that he coulda whittled Batman down. (He would *not*.) And so, Joker's "Reasonable Sanity, in the face of sheer lunacy" woulda won.
I refuse to try to determine if this is true or not, without asking Harley. And she's damaged *enough*, I don't wanna dredge up things that I'm PRETTY sure are true.
God, that clip of Joker laughing while he thinks he's about to die from Mask of the Phantasm will never not give me chills. When Mark Hamill dies, I'm taking a week off to mourn. Bless you, you crazy Jedi man, you!
Do anyone else think getting on the jokers bad side is more horrifying than what needles can do, and joker was literally laughing and enjoy the fact he was fighting some tubby bald ex ice cream man that just have a dirty razor mashae and a truck/mech
Yes. While Needles will just kill you quickly, Joker will just do whatever the hell he wants with you until he gets bored and decides the best fun he will have out of you is killing you with slapstick.
Feels like this was a bit of a fan wank for Joker. He's intelligent and manipulative for sure, but historically he actually really struggles against straightforward fighters. He fought The Punisher in a crossover and when he realised that Frank actually intended to kill him, he immediately wet his clown-pants.
But also a little sexy too though, right? I get where you’re coming from... Older men dressed as clowns... But who doesn’t look back on their first time with fondness?
13:13 I love how not only isthe pistol being too powerful for joker to keep his balance against the recoil is funny, but it's also realistic, given how that thing can completely obliterate Sweet Tooth's tire, as well as an actual weapon in the joker's arsenal, as in one of the older (but still serious) batman movies, in fact I think it was the same one from which came the footage of his killer hand buzzer, he used a pistol with an even longer barrel to shoot down the frigging batplane. WHILE he was daring batman to come at him
I think it would have been better if he did his own version instead of copying Hamil's. Valentine Stokes' Eobard Thawne was one of the best preformances of Death Battle and I don't think it would have been nearly as good if he just did an impression of C. Thomas Howell
Lucas Schuneman did a really convincing Joker voice. Well done! And Torrian, awesome animation work there. Vehicle to mech transformation physics must've been fun to figure out.
+Emo Otaku It was a few seconds, so I didn't really pay attention. I'm blindly guessing it was done that way, to reduce rendering time on that scene. It was an intersection anyway, so any angle could've looked similar.
@Ruben Rodriguez Sort of, Ra’s and Bruce are always playing mental chess with each other and usually Bruce wins 8 times out of 10. But the fact someone like Joker can compete with both in anything, let alone intelligence, shows how dangerous of a crook/villain he truly is.
I have a terrible feeling instead of Frieza, it may be Mewtwo vs Cell as both were scientifically made (with the concept of genetics) to be the strongest.
+Madara Uchiha first of all, *won Second, they did make the Hercule vs Dan Hibiki OMM first, then the death battle, so yeah Of course, it would be better if it was not Frieza
Well either way mewtwo will lose. They're totally biased towards certain franchises and you can always tell they don't like Pokemon. They've messed up explaining simple things in the series much like how they downplayed Ryu hyabusa.
