This bubbly lovable funny girl is nothing like the stone faced ice maiden she plays on star trek. Just proves what a brilliant actress she is. She deserves more film roles
Men become bigger as they work harder and harder for years. Women become bigger as they lock down an accomplished man and give him her best years and hopefully healthy kids. That's what happened. I wish his husband had the vision of having her act for a Star Trek: T'Pol stand-alone TV series.
Back in early 2000s when it was on TV I didn't watch it. But now it's my favorite of all the Star Treks. The OG in a way is still my favorite but you can only watch it so many times.
Funny, the only person that was not allowed to laugh in the Enterprise Show had the craziest, infecting, goofy, ravishing loveable laughs i ever heard..!!
I was unaware of Jolene as a fellow worker in the business until I saw her playing T'pol on Star Trek Enterprise, and of course I wondered what she was like when she was not in character..... so it's wonderful to see the person that she is when she's not doing the show. I've read several comments about the show, and a lot of people were fairly critical of it but I thought it was a terrific ensemble cast doing really good work, and Jolene did a terrific job with her part. I am so happy that she is having a great life, because so many people in our business have emotional problems and don't know where to turn when they face adversity.
After watching Star Trek Enterprise season 1,2,3, and still in the middle of season 3 this is kind of shocking cos I'm so used to seeing her in pure Vulcan mode.
I agree. I'd marry T'Pol for sure. Jolene seems like a cool, intellectual hippi though. "Singularity" is very favorite episode with her followed very closely by "Bounty". My favorite female Commanding Officer used to be Councilor Troi in TNG episode "Face of the Enemy" until T'Pol's character nearly ten years later.
enterpirze should have lasted 7 years like the rest it just came out at a time when sci-fi was going downhill,, same thing happened the the lone gunmen,,,the show was great I loved every episode and the ending wow they got robbed,,, bring back star trek enterprize
If she had done star trek conventions it would only help her career after Enterprise finished. Apparently she did not want to do conventions, but she did do some interviews like this one.
Jolene is like the best and it's a shame she isn't in bigger movies she keeps doin crap like Starship Troopers 2 and stuff. She would make a good action heroine or even some dramatic roles but sadly she takes what's thrown at her I mean we all gotta work I guess
You'd never catch T'Pol in the first 2 seasons do that. Maybe the 4th in her Q trs. She probably told him it was a new type of Vulcan neuropressure and he fell for it.
She was great in Star Trek - she played quite a difficult role. She talks about not doing conventions... she basically didn't need to for the money, her husband is rich.
Back in early 2000s I thought the short hair & pointed ears made her look goofy and stole some attractiveness. But now in 2023 I think the short hair & pointed ears made her look hotter.
Yeah she looks *great*. That's as far as I'll go with that cause she and my eldest daughter look a lot alike. Another thing, and this clip helps substantiate it; Jolene is *NOT* fat! You can tell instantly when she has a stand-in on Enterprise, like with the fight scenes. Her stand-in has a very nice figure too...but Jolene (again) is not fat ;)
Yeah, pretty sure real. Implants/fillers just look jacked up somehow - your brain knows all kinds of natural lips of all sizes and it flags the weirdness.
