As Filipino, Although i dont know the exact reason why, we have this thing called “ber months”, that’s why we put up our christmas decors starting septem”ber” cause it’s the first month that has a “ber” in it. Hope u enjoyed the jollibee Quang!
Hey Quang! We start celebrating Christmas in September because all the months that end in "BER" reminds us of December. And December reminds us that it is Christmas time already. Also, it is pronounced "palA-bok" and not "palabOk". Hope this helps.
We start celebrating with the months ending in BER. We also don’t take down our decorations until late January 😂!! We sing well since it’s in our blood! Every household has a karaoke and magic mic machine so it’s always a karaoke party all day and night!! We are hospitable people and like to take care of others so we are genuinely nice to people. Treat people the way you like to be treated. Feeding people is how we express it! 😂
OMG, I just drove 50 miles yesterday to get Jolibee. And then it was so crowded and people were waiting long for their orders 😟. First time I tried the mango peach pie and now I know why everyone in RU-vid likes it…it’s a sweet salty savory taste with crispy crust and I liked it. Can’t wait for the one 30 miles away from my house to open here in Northern Virginia!
We put our Christmas tree early because Filipinos love Christmas that much. We are very excited to celebrate the holidays and the 13th month of pay also 😂.
@@alexnguyen1284 it's a bonus, you'll be given a whole month of pay for Christmas without any taxes or what. Basically if you're having 30k a month here, in the month of December you'll receive a double.
13th month pay was a full month pay bonus without tax every December that was implemented by Late President Marcos. We received both the pay(15 days pay with tax) and the 13th month bonus pay(a full month pay without tax) in December only. Others would also give a Christmas bonus gift with 13th month but Christmas bonus is usually a little amount. So many Filipinos has lots of money during December and spend it on December. I know that Philippines only has that. I dont know if this guy knows that only Philippines has 13th month pay. Lol
@@alexnguyen1284a good example of 13th month pay would be if your salary per month is 50,000php then we received the 15 days pay (21,000php with tax counted) + 13th month pay(50,000php without tax) If the company provide Christmas bonus like 5,000php The total amount we received would be at large during December only. That's why we love December. lol
My guy, another great video of Jollibee. In reference to your question, my wife and I planned a xmas back on 2018 in the Philippines (foreigners from the US) and we we’re told by the locals why they celebrate the holiday from September to January. Their explanation… everytime the months hit the BER season, it’s automatically Christmas in the Philippines lol. Not gonna lie, xmas there is fun, all the people were very nice and humbling. It almost feel so surreal given the Filipino energy and their enthusiasm to celebrate xmas compared here in the US. To all Filipinos, the signature PAROL lights is a must witnessed on all their city street vendors and venues. It’s more fun in the Philippines! 🇵🇭 👍🏻✌🏻🇺🇸
The start of the BER months means Christmas is coming which is why on SeptemBER (that's why they're called ber months), most of us set up our Christmas decorations already as we are that festive but I don't personally celebrate it since I am Muslim
Hi !!! Quang Happy Sunday 😊 I haven't tried Jollibee yet we have one in Torrance C A .. I always pass it but never tried it ... I have to try the fried chicken, pie, pineapple 🍍 juice .. Thank you for sharing Jollibee. Have a great night 🌙 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Well filipinos love to lengthen the holidays season and feeling so that our kids will have longer time to appreciate it more and that also contribute to why filipinos are very hospitable, kind, and happy people. We love the feeling of christmas and we have what we call BER months which starts in september. From that point anyone can put all their decorations if they want to..
I don't think it's to early to decorate.. The holidays is right around the corner. Some pople decorate when November comes . Some pople decorate right after Thanksgiving to each is own. Love ❤️ the Christmas 🎄 tree.
I tried jolly bee purely because of how tasty you made it look and it was amazing especially with the gravy but it had the slimey texture that my mind can’t get over though 😅 but I would definitely eat it again for sure
Bruuuuuhhh I still remember when you posted on RU-vid when they opened that Jollibee you’re talking about 😂 dam that was years ago .. you took me back Quang 😂 I just realized I’ve been following you for years now 😂
Yes buddy, they made the spicy chickenjoy spicier here in Northern America (US and Canada). In the Philippines they have 3 levels - original, spicy and NEW spicy. The NEW spicy is the spiciest and that's what they brought here now. The original spicy here in Northern America is now gone so what you're tasting now is the NEW spicy which is a real shame because people like me who doesn't want THAT spicy now cannot tolerate the heat 😢
I thought my spice tolerance went down the last time I had Jollibee. I always get spicy but two months ago I got the spicy chicken and my mouth was on fire I thought I was going crazy once I felt the spice in my stomach. I couldn't stop eating tho😅
Lol in the Phillipines they are very festive for Christmas. When it reaches the months that end in ber....ex. September, October, Novermber etc....they celebrate Christmas.
We put the tree up in September because Christmas is all we celebrate. We don't really celebrate all other holidays. We tend to reserve all energy towards Christmas.
