Jon and Lea's Curtain Call 5/18/08 

oh my god...he is so sweet to her.....they are platonic soul mates

Even though I know this was very hard for Jonathan, nobody could compare how much harder it was for Lea. I can't imagine how it must've felt to leave a project she was a part of troughout her puberty up until her adulthood.I mean she was 13 when she started working on Spring Awakening and 21 when she left to do Glee.She was so passionate about it for 7 years, was scared a couple of times thinking it was not going to open with her as Wendla,then when it finally opened it got adapted into a broadway production and finally she decided to leave to do Glee.This has been the hugest emotional rollercoaster for her and I cry everytime I see this,because it reminds me just how emotional it was.

Legitimately crying because I will NEVER be able to see Jon and Lea in Spring Awakening ever.

Lea would realize that within a year, she would go from being seen in front of thousands on Broadway in Spring Awakening to in front of millions watching on television every week on Glee (and beyond).

This video is absolutely amazing. I just start to cry because Lea cries. She is so genuine and so down to earth. I love her so much.

I was lucky enough to see the show about a week before this one & ran into Lea & Jonathan in a cyber cafe down the block afterwards. They were as sweet as could be to us. We were front row center!

i love how jonathon is so calm and collected and lea is bawling her eyes out. ahha. i would have cried too. they are both soooo amaazing.

I feel so blessed that my first and second times seeing the show were their final two... God my friend and I just wept so hard throughout the final show. Lea was crying so much, Groff got misty in places. Phoebe and Thea were crying in places too... It was the most intense thing to watch. So much love for them.

I feel so grateful for spring awakening, for these amazing people to know each other and become such great friends Groffchele is everything

i saw them a few days before this and waiting at the stage door for the cast was this huge white strech hummer and as soon as they came out lea cried "look! i have a white thing!" theyre all so sweet and i miss this show everyday

I cried harder than that when I finished my last highschool show, Willy Wonka. The cast really does become a family and it's just the sadest thing in the world to leave or see them go. @ashpenny27 Lea was offered Les Miz in summer 2006 but choose to do Spring Awakening. She did a concert of Les Miz in Aug 2008 in LA. While in LA for this she audition for glee.
