@@cbrad_edits also possibly a reference to the last part of Pulp Fiction where Samuel L. Jackson tries to convince John Travolta it was God's hand that prevented them from getting struck by bullets
The perfect example of how artists can express their faith in their music and not be ashamed of it, but not be cheesy or cliche. There's so much artistic quality here that it glorifies God and it's so amazing, damn.
I think JT stands for “Just Thankful” When he says “and I don’t mean John Travolta” he is referring to the fact that the song title is JT, This song is about how he’s happy and so grateful for his lifestyle and that he gets to do what he loves every day What do you guys think?
Yeah, that sounds right, but I would add that it seems to also say how his life was like before, and that's the reason why he should be thankful for what he has now.
"Too many coincidences and instances of God's Hand, its insane. I thought my way to greatness, I could clame this, but He gave me the brain" 😭👏👏👏 His artistry is just on a whole different level.
Jon I’ve been listening to you since the release of The Definition and I love how you’ve grown so much. You’re not my secret anymore but I’m very happy for you
After years of prayer and hard work, I've finally been able to take my first ever trip oversees. I'm currently sitting in The Dallas Airport with tears in my eyes and this song is the anthem for my trip. Thank you Jon!
Wow just wow. If “JT” is not the most Jon bellion-esque song ever than idk what is... you know what I mean?? like it really took me back to his earlier albums and I’m just sitting here shook.
Same but I knew them for years before and quite literally cried for a good two days about the fact that they'd be touring together because at the time they were my two favorite artists
Lol bellions been my absolute favorite for over 3 years now, so that hurts me to hear that. Hes never been to my state b4 so ive never seen him live, and im low key salty that i wasnt in your shoes lolol
Lyrics~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A song a day for six years Seems like light years away from today (Hey, hey, hey, hey) Too many coincidences and instances Of God's hand, it's insane (Hey, hey, hey, hey) I thought my way to greatness I could claim this, but he gave me the brain (Hey, hey, hey, hey)You know what I'm saying? And those thoughts can get confusing, it's amusing But tonight, we celebrate (Hey, hey, hey, hey) Lay me down, put me out Call me home, let me know I'm ready to go 'Cause I was down, now, I've flown Oh, what's reality lately? Remember dreams seemed far away Was pinching pennies like Lane and Hardaway Now my beats make feasts for holidays in Greece And I don't mean John Travolta Remember dreams seemed far away Was pinching pennies like Lane and Hardaway Now my beats make feasts for holidays in Greece And I don't mean John Travolta And I don't mean John Travolta (yeah) And I don't mean John Travolta Dancing under sunset, in the mountains Just reflecting for the day (Hey, hey, hey, hey) I've seen this in my head a million times But to see it come to life is just insane (Hey, hey, hey, hey) Champagne and orange juice Mimosas were Pulp Fiction in the way(Hey, hey, hey, hey) That all can get confusing, it's amusing, but tonight (Celebrate) Lay me down, put me out Call me home, let me know I'm ready to go 'Cause I was down, now, I've flown Oh, what's reality lately? (Oh) Remember dreams seemed far away Was pinching pennies like Lane and Hardaway Now my beats make feasts for holidays in Greece And I don't mean John Travolta Remember dreams seemed far away Was pinching pennies like Lane and Hardaway Now my beats make feasts for holidays in Greece And I don't mean John Travolta Put me out Call me home, let me know I'm ready to go 'Cause I was down, now, I've flown Oh, what's reality lately? (Oh) Remember dreams seemed far away Was pinching pennies like Lane and Hardaway Now my beats make feasts for holidays in Greece And I don't mean John Travolta Remember dreams seemed far away Was pinching pennies like Lane and Hardaway Now my beats make feasts for holidays in Greece And I don't mean John Travolta Far away, Hardaway Holiday, don't mean John Travolta Far away, Hardaway Holiday, don't mean John Travolta Lay me down, put me out Call me home (Holiday-don't mean John Travolta) (Don't mean John Travolta) Call me home I'm ready to go

I love how he always gives credit to well deserved people while at the same time building a name for himself. This is how you know he is a good person and artist because he doesn't bring other down he builds them up.
Dear Jon Bellion. For a while now I’ve been in a depressed state. I’ve locked myself from the world and was alone for a very long time. I was close to taking my own life, and decided to look at RU-vid one last time. I just happen to be very lucky to see you had released an album and hearing your lyrics I decided it wasn’t worth it. You are truly an inspiration to me and millions of others. I strive to be like you one day and are really hope you get a chance to read this. I love you so much. A.A
"Too many coincidences and instances of God''s hand, it's insane." I have listened to this song I would say well over a 100 times and that one particular line still gives me goosebumps
I can't wait for this whole album 😍 Every time that choir comes on, I get chills! It's like an immediate attack to my senses, but in an amazing way. Oh man 😵
I love when music makes you feel emotions, or when it makes you forget about everything in your life, good bad and ugly, and lets you just step out of the world for a while, and thats what i just felt :)
Just wrote this on the official UMG 'Topic" page for this song but really wanted to make sure you got it. This is an absolutely spectacular song. I've been reviewing music from every genre spanning classic songs to modern day jams for the last year (writing about 48,000 characters daily) & I can say with absolute confidence this is one of the most refreshingly unique songs on the market right now, a soothing song hearkening back to the early days of Indie music at the tail-end of the old Electronica scene, fitting somewhere between the sonic brilliance of Frou Frou's 'Details' & the Emo shyness of early The Postal Service stuff. It feels nostalgic & serene whilst giving beautifully uplifting slices of life with those Gospel choruses & the generally-laidback manner in which you speak-sing. I almost never give praise to modern artists 'cause most of today's music is merely permutations of the same trendy tropes that're used by everyone else, but I really had to take a moment to tell you how much I appreciate this song; It's a real breath of fresh air in a seemingly-stagnant music market. Thank you!
I was just thinking his latest track "Stupid Deep" gave me mild Frou Frou/Imogen Heap vibes. Crazy to hear someone else draw this comparison in general.
I think the only reason it came up recommended is because I listen to him daily. I'm pissed about the faulty notification BS. I was missing out on this for TWO WHOLE DAYS.
Please start posting your studio sessions again. I’ve always LOVED seeing your songs come together piece by piece and being able to see how happy and excited it makes you.
Thank you Jon Bellion for your beautiful music. I have been inspired by you so much. If I ever make it big, I promise that your name will be given my utter respect.
