Looks awesome buddy! What happens if you hit a submerged log? Wont your magnet mounted-transducer End up on the bottom of the lake? You could put a safety cable attached to your boat just in case.

its still connected to the boat by the cable and if i hit a log im my boat going 3mph i think i will be fine, its electric only boat for me so made the magnet decision pretty easy.
