This my first comment I have ever made on RU-vid and I have watched hundreds of them, I am bit nervous :) This interview - the filming, the music, the script appears quite raw - not super polished as a high value produced video. However, it is really delightful to watch it. The music and images fit well and as a spectator, you can see/listen how much is going on in Fosse's head. For me, the best part is that you can see that his thoughts and emotions are intertwined.
Thank you very much. We had a very small crew and budget for this project. Just one person doing cameras, lighting, sound, video editing, subtitles, color grading… So I’m proud of what we could get. I’m glad that you like it, it was not very common to find Jon Fosse doing interviews. We tried to do a different thing in here and this is the result. The music was made just for the interview so we tried to add a good atmosphere on it.
