Aside of the great song i also like his attitude. Standing in front of the audience, playing complicated two hand tappings, singing, correct the position of his in ear monitor while wearing no shoes and feeling comfortable. Kind of a special vibe for me ...

One of the few best songs in the world.

Around 6 years ago I went out with some close friends and some friends-of-friends. We spent the whole night at the bar, then food after. then everyone except for me and one of the group I didn't know as well left. I thought it would be awkward but we talked about life and music for hours. At 5 in the morning he played me Passionflower. To this day it is THE song I think of when I think "gentle and completely beautiful music." Restorative every single time I listen. Thank you for this song Jon, vote entered, you absolutely deserve the award.

I saw you play in Cambridge on March 23, 2015. I just happened to be studying music there as a foreign exchange student from New Jersey. I found out about the concert a few days before and skipped class to be there. I was struggling to get adjusted in a new country, but getting out of my dorm and attending that concert energized me. Had the absolute pleasure of seeing Jon on his recent amp promo tour for Blackstar. He was six feet away from me and the other guitarist in my band who have a combined experience of 70 years playing guitar. We still have no f*cking idea how he did what he did. What we do know is that we were both pretty much rendered speechless throughout his amazing performance. What a player and a lovely chap to boot.
