Niko Pajarillo, Josh Culibao and Tyson Pedro chat with interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall ahead of his rematch against Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304 in Manchester #MMA #UFC
@@PullThatUpJamie I actually saw younger, and bigger. In Gane's defense, his strike game actually seemed superior at the time; however, when you're going up against a combat phenom(JJ), none of those things matter. A fact that you lot completely ignore.
y'all do realize he's fighting later this year, right? so surrender a belt he's gonna defend 🤔I swear it doesn't take that long to think before you comment..
Jones got it figured out, he’s not gonna risk it. It’s too dangerous for him to put his roid career online the line. It would completely destroy his self worth if he lost.
@@DynastyIconNo it’s what the multiple failed PED tests tells us 😂 as for not risking Jon’s out right told us that him self, he knows there’s a huge chance gets finished because Tom can wrestle n is naturally bigger. He’ll happily fight alex peirre though because he’s smaller n can’t wrestle for shit
@@slickdon1 How da fook is Pereira smaller than jones lmao I mean right now of course he is, different weight class, if he'd just instantly go to heavyweight without building his body he would be smaller obviously, but his body portion is perfectly fit for a natural HW, have you even looked at him? He looks very lean even in LHW. On the other hand, just look at Jones, even with 3 years of building his body it just looks painfully obvious that his body is not naturally fit for a HW at all.
@@darthrevan6861 How? Because the dude made middleweight multiple times where as Jon jones haves never made that weight in his ufc career, Alex even said he thought about going back down. Alex is big but come jones is bigger than you think the dude took Cormier down multiple times. Alex is naturally smaller than jones definitely isn’t as strong n 100% would get rag dolled quicker than gane did
we just understand that it's levels to it and Jon even at 35 or whatever is on another level.. y'all look at Tom as the guy who can FINALLY beat Jon Jones cuz y'all hate him personality, if you understood the sport you'd understand that Tom has a slim chance to beat Jon Jones
@@GBNationalist ye they do. A fighter see it as if there were no refs or stoppage then he would of lost/ died. (If it was on the street.) That is exactly how Tom and any fighter who loses like that sees it.
@@adamc6168Jones is the goat. Almost every fighters put him as the goat with fedor. Lets say he lost to reyes. Oups still the goat. Lets say he lost to gus. Oups still the goat. Jones is the best to ever do it period.
@@adamc6168 you remember the part where Jon got his hand raised and got the belt wrapped around his waist? yeahhh that means he won bud , it's been 4 years.. you gotta move on 😂
Was thinking that myself, for me Tom would knock Alex out in 1 round and early to be honest. He's to good and way to fast and alex is way to open. For me it's a mismatch
Jon wants NO piece of Tom! He's "injured" now but, if Curtis wins, watch him suddenly find his nerve / be ready to fight. Jones is the most disappointing waste of talent ever. It's like he WANTS to tarnish his legacy, as he couldn't do a "better" job. 👊💥
There is zero point of an interim belt if the "champ" is available to fight and won't fight him. 🦆🦆🦆 Jones should be stripped and let him fight Stipe as just a normal fight.
I don’t see any British overlooking him. We accept he’s probably Tom’s hardest test in the division but Tom at his best is the best fighter in the entire division. I think Blaydes is a harder fight for him than Jones tbh and by a large margin. Blaydes has the power to finish people and he’s the best wrestler in the division. He’s been getting better all the time too.
@@ColmPadraig no he won't. He said that if he ever goes up to HW it must be for the undisputed title, ''the interim belt makes no sense to him''. Anyway I consider Tom as the real champ not JJ
Jon shouldn't even have the belt. Him n Stipe should be for legacy. 2 wins combined in 4 years n they are fighting for the belt kinda silly don't u think?
Here's the leaked script: Tom KOs Blaydes and Jones beats Stipe by decision. Both Jon and Stipe retire and Tom is promoted to undisputed. Pereira KOs Ankalaev on the MSG undercard and wants to move up. UFC makes Aspinall vs Pereira and Tom submits Alex.
Jon Jones is amazing BUT He has NEVER consistently RAN through his opponents in Dominant fashion in the way that Tom Aspinall has. Also idk how the UFC declared the 1st match up a "Win?" it lasted seconds, Curtis landed zero significant strikes, Tom's Knee just blew out from a no contact injury. So how is that declared a "Win" for anyone?
The fact that Curtis is calling his fight with Tom a win ,without the slightest irony or embarrassment, he deserves the beating he is about to take from Tom this time round
like him or not jon is a legend of the sport so we would all like to see the tom v jones, but I think it would be a good idea to forget about jones and put our energy as fans into the "interim" belt. he will deservedly become irrellevant as an active competitor if everyone stops calling for him to stand on business. interim belt is the real deal - jon can keep hold of his "legacy" belt.
The only legacy Jones has is PED cheating, having his own children call the police on him for his violence against their mother, and now cowardice of ducking the HW champ who is favourite to hand him his first loss since Reyes
@@TM-pz2ue why would he mention fighting someone else before he had his fight with Stipe when everyone is talking about it anyways. People not getting this is embarrassing. Think like a promoter.
@brandonmoyd2942 no they don’t everyone you named is a b tier athlete or a steroid cheat 😂 acting like the ufc dudes pre 2012 we’re elite athletes and the heavyweights only now just started to get packet with top talent no wonder why jones keeps running
Because gane has turned him down twice, aspinall admitted he asked for the fight twice and gane said no. I'm sure Tom even went ringside in France at ganes last fight and still gane doesn't want it.
@Truth259 can you name another time in history and interim champion hasn’t got an immediate title shot and had to face an challenger now you want him to face 2 you Jon jones fans are ridiculous
@@siloboi6526 He was scheduled to fight Miocic after defeating Ganes. Then he got injured, and had to postpone the fight. He can't fight anyone injured. Besides, I frankly believe he doesn't think Aspinall deserves a tiltle shot at this point. Tom must defeat either/both Ganes and Curtis Blaydes to earn the right to fight JJ.
Even only including fighters who haven't tested positive, Khabib isn't even top 5. Winning the 'world title' by going to a decision vs the 11th-ranked Iquinta who had 1.5 day's notice, makes up a quarter of his title wins - meanwhile GSP has 13 titles in two divisions. Khabib preferred to miss weight and get hospitalised due to weight bullying so hard, so as to avoid fighting people his own size
@@charged710 For Khabib fans the criteria is 'bruther he never bleed bruther'. For everyone else, there are 20+ UFC fighters with more title wins than Khabib, and many of them have moved up a weight class, whereas Khabib preferred to miss-weight and get hospitalised (and events called off) due to weight-bullying so hard, so as to avoid fighting people his own size. Not to mention a quarter of his measly title-reign was a decision against the 11th ranked Iquinta who had 1.5-day's notice
@@jamesthompson9003 how many times did khabib miss weight then mate? Are you forgetting gsp used to grease himself up? What did khabib weigh on fight nights compared to his opponents then my man, if what you claim is true? Remember, sensationalist claims require sensational details to back them up
