People keep in mind that Jon Renau HD fibered wigs appear lighter in the colors from what I have seen on reviews. Shaded Sun is a gorgeous color but is not this light on regular synthetic pieces...again my opinion. Denise I love this color on you and you are so adorable! ❤❤❤
You are absolutely right! I have a video where I show how the color Caramel Ribbon looks TOTALLY different from regular synthetic, to heat friendly synthetic, to human hair. It is really crazy! Here is that video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VW2BTGVRu1M.htmlsi=bHW3_EdDzoX8anI1
I have only one wig and it was gifted to me by my sister 3 years ago. I wore it out shopping today for the very first time. I did ok. Over the last few months I have been preoccupied by searching for a wig I want. I have hit upon the Ignite and I want her so bad. I will be getting her in Milkshake as I have brunette hair with about 30% gray. I actually think this would be a good place for me to start. You did a fabulous job on this video and I want it even more. You are so beautiful in all your wigs and I just love watching. Thank you so much!
I’m 75 & had hair loss for a number of years, I bought Ignite in Winter Sun & love it. Someone asked my daughter if I was wearing a wig & said I looked 20yrs younger & it looked fab
Thank you for this awesome review! I got this wig in Oyster and it is the first wig I can wear without anything holding it on my head. I have bout over a hundred wigs and this is a first wig with a comfortable cap that stays on even on a windy day. I love the color and how well it blends with my natural hair. Love you Denise!
I have 2 Ignites. It was one of my first wigs that I bought at the beginning of my wig wearing journey 3 years ago. I have never been able to fix her where she wouldn't drop into my eyes! I did just order her in the color Oyster and looking forward to getting her!
Here is a video I did showing how to use a hot comb to get lift in the front: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-d66fqy6tN_4.htmlsi=nP52Jq7ooUKh-1wy
Comes in 3 sizes that's brilliant I wonder how many more styles come with larger options maybe a video for the future! Ignite is so popular for good reason I don't prefer a full basic cap but lots of people do. Thanks Denise 💗
Ignite was my very first wig...ever! I got two in the Oyster color and put a little bit of curl into one of them. They both still look great! Now I'm inspired to get one in another color! Love you sister!
Ms. Denise. I have bought 4,wigs from Temu over the past year and trying to make them work. You have a channel. My best wig gives me a headache but you look like yours is fine and so so natural. If I come find what I need I would wear it all the time.
I am new to the world of wigs and wig wearing. However, I have been inspired by your enthusiastic RU-vid videos to purchase a Jon Renau Ignite wig as my own hair is thinning front and top. I will send further comment once I receive it. Thank You!
You are SO helpful! Always get sooooo much from you! Thank you for such great content consistently. I have six Ignite wigs, my staple! Question… on the dominant side (where most hair is) I notice on all of mine, a large separation in the fibers right by the ear. I’ve developed a habit of raking with my fingers to keep it from happening, but can/is this ever addressed with manufacturers? Have any of you Ignite girls noticed this? 🤔
I am so grateful to have found you. I am new to this journey & am really struggling. I love this wig but need a petite. I don’t see it on the website. The only size listed is average. Thanks for sharing.
You look wonderful in this wig but it's not just the wig ... I keep looking at you, wondering what is different about you. Still not sure but whatever it is, you have a happy glow on your face and it's very noticeable 💌 wishing you the Best!!!
Thank you so much! I have been working on my health and have lost 70lbs and feel SO MUCH BETTER than I used to regarding joint pain and stomach issues.
Beautiful wig and color. I have 2 Ignites and love them. I curled one, the curl didn't keep. Maybe not hot enough. Will try again. Just so paranoid about too high of a heat. Love your look! Thx for all you do with this wig journey!
To be honest, I really struggle to curl heat friendly wigs... it isn't as easy as we think it is! I know some are super great at it so I figure it was just me!
@@heywigsister I have both! When I saw that the PSB looked brighter on this style, I decided to try it and find it much nicer than on any other piece I’ve seen. I prefer light and bright. It’ll definitely look lovely on you!
This looks so fabulous on you and the color suits you!!! I just got mine and I sent it back right away as it does not look good on me at all. Mine has a HUGE lift/bump in the cut, much much more more than what I see on you and the color is beautiful but too warm for me and much darker than what I see on your video. Mine was petite so maybe the average is a different cut as I saw lots of reviews. Cap fit beautifully in the petite but the style is a big no for me ON ME.
I've been looking for a short straight wig that is heat friendly and need to order this style. I didn't want to pay a lot so sounds like this one could work and so many people love this wig. I like the color of the Shaded Sun but I might not like the dark root. I had that issue with Raquel Welch's Shaded Biscuit. I thought the root was too dark and I wasn't used to it. I wound up getting Shaded Sand and the root was better IMO.
Hoping you know the answer to this, because I can't find info anywhere. I purchased Ignite when they only had one size and it fit like a petite size. Now they come in 3 sizes-petite, average and large. My question is, is the average size now a true average or is it the same size as before? The large cap is huge!
Firstly, you are a blessing to all of us out here. This wig looks great on you and I would never guess it's a wig. My concern about this wig is the 1.5 inch nape. Befor buzzing your hair, would it have shown? There is such a variance among different people and I'm afraid my bio hair would show, and it stays doesn't work for me back there. Your opinion would be greatly appreciate it… Do you think 1.5 inches and extended nape would cover most of the population of large-headed people (BTW, I've been wearing hats my whole life and I never considered my head to be big but at 23.5 inches in the wig world I'm a giant, lol. Also, as an aside, I think you age backward! Thanks for all you videos, tips and empathy. God bless you!
Hi! Thank you so much for the compliment! I'm working hard on my health and so I appreciate that it is noticeable! As for the nape, yes, my bio hair would show on a 1.5 inch nape prior to buzzing it.... not necessarily in the very back, but at the corners where those short napes would often dip in. I think the longer whispy hairs they added at the nape really do help! Back then, I would choose a color close to my bio hair and that made all the difference and allowed me to wear a short nape like this. I also couldn't get It Stays to work back there! As for coverage for larger head measurements, that is hard to say because it all depends on how the wig fits, which includes not only the circumference but over the top of the head as well. Thanks for the question!!
Beautiful color. So reddish? Would you look at it and say that’s red or blonde with strawberry highlights? How does this color compare to RQ Shaded Sand?
Hi! To me it is more blonde with strawberry tones and highlights.... but the thing with color is there is a spectrum and how we SEE color can vary a lot. For example.... I am a natural dark brunette, so in the beginning there were colors that looked very blonde to me and my eye, whereas my blonde friends thought they looked more light brown. Unfortunately I don't think I've ever seen Shaded Sand by RW but I watched a few videos and I don't think they are all that close. The color codes are VERY different, and I don't really see the red in Shaded Sand (again, based on the videos I watched and not person experience). I also think the root on Shaded Sand is lighter. Taz does a great job of explaining this color (and comparing it to Shaded Biscuit which own in a number of RW wigs): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-t-6vIAAYLRE.html
Absolutely! I have seen this MULTIPLE times from people who have shared pictures, and one was even sent to me as a donation. you may have to take heat to them to get them to lay flat, though.
