Another great review Nisha. I'm not into wigs, but I think for women that are or need to wear wigs then your reviews on them have been fantastic. I was reading through some comments and got a bit annoyed. You are still lovely and down to earth, only the other week you were showing the EBay Jewellery for £3.99, you love your drugstore makeup as well as high end so I really don't understand some people's thinking. Maybe you can afford more than you could when you first started RU-vid but to me that's what working is all about, to better ourselves. I love seeing people get on in life, and truly admire them if it's through hard work. You go on being you as you are fantastic. 💕💕 xx

It looks very good on you. Consider it for summer and everyday wear! It does look more like your natural hair thickness wise. Hi Nisha, I've received my Scarlett wig today in the same colour as yours & looooove it. I've already trimmed the front to a side fringe & I didn't mess it up!!! Looks so good. I honestly didn't think I'd like this one as much as the Raquel Welch one but I do. It's different and the color is more vibrant and shiny but it does look great on you as well. A nice alternative.

I think the color looks great on you! It really makes your blue eyes pop!! I feel that it gives your face more color and everything isn't quite so mono chromatic. Just to encourage you that I think the color really suits you.

I much prefer the Scarlett on you although you look great in both. I think this coloring suits you better - but then again that's what I'm seeing on my computer monitor, it may be different in real life. I'm enjoying your wig reviews, please keep doing them!

I am contemplating that one or the Rachel Editor's Pick and just wanted to see the difference.... getting to the point that I'm almost ready to take the plunge...my hair keeps getting thinner and thinner...getting more difficult to style. Thank you Nisha for such great tips. After watching your reviews I feel like I would be very interested in trying a wig. My hair is dark brown and shoulder length. I am going through the menopause and have found lately that my hair is getting thinner. My hair was never thick but I had so much more. I tend to put it up most days as it looks so much thinner. I feel a little self conscious now and after watching you wear these beautiful wigs, I know it would give me so much more confidence. Hi Nisha, you made so many great points in this blog...I love this new passion you've found! I agree, the Raquel wig is so pretty...and though this one is similar, there are definite differences. I have to say (and maybe it's just because you haven't really "styled" it yet) this one just looks a lot "messier" rather than the more attractive loose and shiny waves of the other wig. I'm curious about how it will look after you've had a chance to do your own thing to it...looking at it today I just wanted to take a brush to it, lol. I know that's a no-no...I love the beach wave look, but when it looks stringy it bothers me. I can see this one has potential to be great though....but, like you, the other color is just amazing...you can't compete with amazing! Great info...thank you for sharing and keep 'em coming!

Thank you! And I agree with you on the "warm platinum"... it seems so many mfgs and sellers are trying to cover every base on what people desire on their descriptions. Either that or they think people won't buy unless they hear "warm" not realizing many, like me, won't buy "warm." I seldom trust the descriptions anymore because of that. My skin and natural hair are "cool" and believe it or not I've even received warm salt and pepper wigs which make me look about 15 years older than I am due to the washing out warm hair does to my skin... who needs that especially when they're already graying?! My family having raven or blue-black Irish hair salt and pepper has always meant cool to me. Now I'm gun shy buying any salt and pepper except for one place and I don't like the quality of their full wigs so I just get hair pieces. If I see a wig that specifies if a salt and pepper is warm or cool then I might buy. Now, after all that... whew, you are so beautiful that you can wear anything really but I do like the middle part on you as well as the color. However, the more platinum one is more of an eye-catcher... hope I said that right. You look great in both ... on for the va va voom and one for the PTA/board meeting. ;-)

I got Scarlett in martini. Talk about different! I love the color martini because it doesn't necessarily look like a gray oh, but it sure is a sophisticated way for those of us in our forties and fifties to transition to a little bit of Gray. I have it in a couple of shorter wigs like Evan and ignite. I decided that I would order Scarlet in martini. I'm sure glad I did. When you say you cannot style Scarlet with heat or actually you said you can't style Scarlett that's actually not true. You can use heat to style Scarlett you just can't use much heat or you have to use different types of heat. You can use hot rollers if the curl falls out, you can use the less expensive curling irons that don't get us hot. I know you live in England but in the US Walmart has curling irons that cost $5. Those curling irons do not get hot enough to melt non heat friendly wigs. But since fibers are basically stretched out plastic once you heat the fiber and bend it into a curl once you take it off the curling iron you have to clip it in that position until it cools so the plastic cools in that position to hold that curl. Helen of Troy makes a round hot air brush that works wonderful for synthetic wigs. They're harder to find now and I've noticed they're more expensive now because maybe the company has gone out. What you need to look for is a hot air brush with a plastic base and not metal. The metal gets entirely too hot when the hot air blows through but the plastic does not. It is amazing what the hell and of Troy hot air brush can do to a wig to adjust bangs or revive the top and/or smooth sides. Scarlett was Notorious for losing her curl. I have seen people roll her up in hot rollers and get a completely different look but very curly. Also you can steam Scarlett completely straight and then add a complete different curl pattern by using hot rollers or a curling iron. You can also roll it and regular roller and hit each roller with your steamer and then let it sit overnight to completely dry no. There is a method that does work but I would test it on a wig that you're going to throw away. Once you have combed out your wig completely you put it on rollers. You put a big pot of water on the stove and bring it to a full rolling boil. Then you turn the water off as soon as it stops rolling, you submerg the wig completely into the water. You need to leave it in there about a minute and a half or two minutes so all the hair can be absorbed by the water and Heat. This completely depends on how much hair you've wrapped around each roller. Then you pulled the wig out with some tongs just set it on a towel for an hour or so and then hang it to dry for 24 to 48 hours until it is completely completely completely dry. In the summer, I like to hang mine in the low branches of a tree! Theyre protected in the shade, but get the benefit of the fresh air blowing through them! Just thought I'd add my 2 cents hoping it may help you and others since you take your time to make videos to help others! 😉🙂

I just bought my first Scarlett. I found her on an outlet store in my favorite Jon renau color, Martini! I've never seen a Scarlet in martini and I can't wait she was marked down to $100! I couldn't pass her up with her being in my favorite color this website has everything marked down really low 30-70% off, because they have such limited colors left. That's why they Markham down so low they get really low on inventory on certain styles and then Markham down to cost or a little more. I had $600 worth of wigs in my cart. LOL. I picked out some wigs that are my favorite wigs but not in my favorite colors so I knew I probably wouldn't wear them if they weren't in colors I loved. I've been waiting on ignite to come back in and Martini for months. They had Stevie marked down too. she is the one long long wig that I've been wanting for a while because she's very thin looking I'm. Not been looking but normal thickness like I would naturally have. not this thick luscious curly hair that most normal people wouldn't have. I think Stevie maybe Noriko? I just can't remember.

On your advise I bought a wig brush (Satin Strands, it has plastic loop bristles). Now my falls and clips look great.

I have to say that every one of them you have showed us looks great and great on you! I am growing my hair out and using extensions which are really fun but at times, I do miss my a-line blunt cut so I might consider a wig so I can have it all. Thanks for the videos!

I think I'd trim the front a bit too, as this wig covers your face too much instead of framing it. However another gorgeous choice!!

I was SO excited when I got on here and saw you're reviewing another wig!!!! I'm living vicariously thru you and your wigs! Meanwhile I got my shoulder-length corkscrew-curled 1970's shag-style trimmed. No waves now. Its all curls all the time. So I'm loving seeing these wigs that are straight-ish, to me they are anyway! And Nisha, I'm in love with your beautiful mish-mashed Polish-British accent...."the same bitchy waves..." 😂 😂 😂 If I EVER get my toyed-with plan for a YT channel (it'd be artsy) you can laugh at my Northern/Southern US mish-mash accent. Its just not anywhere near as wonderful as yours! You are your own wonderfully, delightfully lovely, unique brand of fabulous! And we're all crazy about you!

I think Scarlett suits you, you look so young, I think Editors pick is a little nicer but this is still so beautiful on you.

I think both colors look wonderful on you. My mother in law has a human hair wig cut and colored to match her natural hair and when she is in a hurry or doesn't care to take the time to style her hair she will wear her wig and no one ever knows.

I also wondered Nisha why in US the wigs are so much more than in the U.K. I thought the pound had come down in price compared to US dollar. Has it come back up? I love this one too and it is easier on the pocket. I agree with cutting a little fringe. I am seriously thinking of getting another wig like this for myself. I have bought a topper which helps with my missing hair on top. I think I will save up and splurge for the Raquel Welsh you showed the other day that is more expensive.

I wonder if you can roll them the old fashioned way? wet it and use hair rollers. wigs used to have way too much hair, they sure look real now days. The lace cap is great invention.

They're both lovely on you, Nisha. This one looks cooler (airflow-wise) & lighter. Is it? What I'm getting at is dingdanged hotflashes & the steam (LOL!) coming off me. That's my concern, getting *way* too warm during those flashes. I seriously LOVE how they look on you & I do agree that this one is more everyday, more your own volume. People who need large cap wigs have slim pickings. Scarlet large is one of the few workable wigs. Estetica wigs are being made smaller now, reducing the options. The front needs to be layered and curled off the face with steam and a round brush.

I have the scarlett and for some reason I hate it! Yours looks amazing on you and I've seen it on others and love it but I think it's the color I got it's not rooted enough and looks a bit bird's nesty and that's probably what I don't like - on you it looks amazing!
