In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

7:51 that smile on Alex's face is so pure! he looks so happy to have finally broken Jon to the point where he's willing to embarrass himself on TV just to impress the mayor (Jon's singing is very good though! I wouldn't have shamed him for it!) edit: ok apparently it's at 7:39 now, 7:51 takes you to the middle of jon's singing. Either they edited out 10 seconds of the video or I'm just really really bad at telling time

yes, I agree, but, if Jon had won, we would not have seen Katherine's "make a mess and clean it up" on champion of champions, so I think it was worth it. Jon is one of my favorite contestants, but I think we all lucked out that Katherine got to do that task in CoC.

I think the most impressive thing about Jon might be the storage unit he definitely had to rent out in order to be able to store all of his many, many countdown prizes. I'm sure he could have found a RU-vid compilation of his most impressive solves somewhere, right?

@@YungCoomer Yeah sorry I realised what you meant when I got to that part of the video. I came to edit my comment but it was gone so I assumed I forgot to post it. It was revealed in the episode but I don't remember exactly. I know Richard and Katherine set the taskmaster clip and the makeup one respectively. Then I think Doc set the table one and Joe the other one but I'm not absolutely positive on that
