I don't think they sound horrible, I heard them before this live during the 2009 tour. I think the only issue is how high pitched most of the song is sang, they're men who have gone through puberty so hitting high notes isn't that easy for them whether they're talented singers or not. I love them no matter what, can't be ashamed of them for ONE performance. True fans are with them through it all.

I love how they are Yankee fans (yes it hurt to type that!) and they are singing a song that has a lot of meaning to all the Bostonians and Red Sox fans out there. That shows that they are true musicians!
I tried to film it when they sang it in Newcastle last night just to record them saying my name but my phone only films like 5secs of video so I failed each time! Pretty damn good live like.

I was a huge fan of these guys and I still look back on their music fondly, but man this is one of the worst vocal performances I've EVER heard from them. Seriously, their cover of Take On Me (which I didn't know about until a few months ago) was better than this. I remember them performing this song when I went to see them at the Verizon Center in July 2009, that was the first time I heard them sing this song. How often did they sing it, I don't know, but this is the first time I REALLY listened, and man it's awful.
I'm sorry but Joe sounds like a pig attacked him and gave him pneumonia while he sang. I love the song -- but I could definitely do without this cover.
i don't think this is very good at all. the concert i went too, they pulled it off wayyyyy better. and i think nick sounds better than joe, it's a better song for his voice. not joe's. but anyway, i didn't really like it too much. still luv them, though! :)
I stumbled upon this after listening to salling's (puck from GLEE) version of Sweet Caroline. Man. Try listening to it back to back. The jobros just sound second rate. Not bashing, ok. I like some of their songs but... damn. Cannot compare. I'm gonna be honest, I'm not even gonna finish this video. goodbye.

This is the most horrible rendition of an amazing song! I don't care if jonas brother fans give my comment billions of thumbs down or hate me. Once all of you get over this craze, take a step back, and actually LISTEN to their voices without your brains fogged over by their so called "awesome-ness", you'll understand that they're really not good singers...at all.
@christinedaae101 For Sure. This is just a down right bloody massacre. Neil should be frowning on this. But, I do think you are right about David's, the arrangement was the suckish part about it. But, again, back to THIS vid, they just screwed over a previously good song.

I totally agree with you. Their voices just don't go together. It probably wouldn't have been that bad. If the one who does most of the singing didn't stress his voice so much. Like it was like he was trying to sing one of the pop songs they usually make
I never thought I'd hear a version of this song worse than David Arculeta's. And the only problem with his was the arrangement, imo. If the voice's and the playing are shit then the song if butchered. Kinda like this.

I saw that. And they do it so much better. Like why is nobody smiling in this video and it likes they are just there. Where as in Glee everyone looks like they are having such a good time.
i love jb but they dont do this song very well i saw them in concert and it was better but joe sings it an octave too high i prefer the glee version :) I LOVE JB THOUGH!!! :D♥
I love the orignal "Sweet Caroline" and I don't like that they speed it up and made it rockier. I understand they did it to make it their own but I'm not a fan of this cover.
i didn't like the way joe sang, it sounded weird, not like him.. though i love how nick sang :DD i wish kevin would sing more and sing solos he has a great voice :)

ive actually heard him sing it better so they did do a good cover of it just this 1 performance was off a little i love the glee version aswell thou lol x
