Speaker Biography: Jonas Hassen Khemiri, born in Sweden in 1978, is the internationally acclaimed author of four novels and six plays. His work has been translated into more than twenty languages and his plays have been performed by over 100 companies around the world. Khemiri's award-winning novels include "One Red Eye" and "Montecore." He has received a Village Voice Obie Award for best script, the Swedish Radio Award for best novel of the year, the Borås Tidning Award for best literary debut novel and, for his latest, the August Prize, Sweden's most important and prestigious literary award. In Khemiri's latest novel, "Everything I Don't Remember," an unnamed writer with an agenda of his own puts together the pieces of the puzzle surrounding a young man's death. Khemiri lives in Stockholm with his family.
