I am so grateful that you put G'raha on the dice. That character means so very much to me and to so many people in the FFXIV community, and I think I speak for all of us that it means the world to us that you gave Jonathan Bailey an opportunity to talk about him. Without Raha's unrelenting support, being entrapped in crystal for centuries, fighting wars across worlds, delving deeper into research than one would think possible, and always remembering his promise and dedication to the Warrior of Light through all of it, we would have never been able to save the star. He is one of the most beloved characters ever written, even if only by what many would see as a niche community. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Jonathan Bailey!
G'RAHA TIA! AT YOUR SERVICE! Thank you Jonathan for voicing him! I have his last words as the Crystal Exarch on my forearm to remind me that "Hope is Everlasting"
A more genius, kind, thoughtful, talented, hilarious, articulate human being fails to walk the planet with Jonathan Bailey on it. He is otherworldly, an enigma.
Jonathan Bailey is unicorn in today’s world and with the surreal acting talent he has. He has such a depth, the spark of goodness and kindness seen in his eyes and smile. He is so down to earth, there is nothing about him that one could get impression he’s worldwide famous. Just incredible human being and actor as well. Simon and Daphne in Bridgerton seem like a joke compared to Anthony and Kate- their chemistry, their love story, just everything as individuals and how they are together.
Thank you for putting G'raha's adorable face on the face! We're always wondering what his thoughts are on the character! It makes me so happy to hear him call G'raha little catboy and that he adores him!
Oh my lord... I did not expect G'raha Tia to be talking to me for 13 minutes. I have never paid so much attention to an interview in my life. I could listen to this man speak all day. Someone please pay him to read an encyclopedia please and thank you. 🤩 He seems to be such a genuinely lovely person who has a passion for his art.
"We'll travel the lands, cross the seas, and take to the skies upon the eternal wind- and it will be marvelous! It will..." that quote has been so meaningfull for me. Thanks!!
G’raha will always be my favorite character of his, thank you for sticking with us even as you grow as an actor into bigger roles💕 the FFXIV players appreciate you!
I absolutely adored Crashing!!! So glad it's one of his favourites, what an amazing career so far, can't wait to see what he does next! I had the privilege to see him onstage in Cock and he was incredible!
i'm so thankful for fellow travelers for introducing me to this brilliant human being / actor, i've watched Bridgerton and Crashing and I can't wait to see wicked too
Thank You for putting G'raha on there! I have been waiting and wondering and curious about if he would be back and how he felt about my favorite catboy/scion. This is wonderful news. And I am so happy his career has taken off. Love his acting so much.
Thanks for including G’raha Tia in this video! I hope Jonathan knows how much we love his character. He’s the sweetest! Also I can’t wait to see him as Fiyero. Sending all my love and admiration from Mexico City!
He really is so lovely, humble, and so intelligent! I love listening to him recognizing his growth through the pieces he has been in. He has done a remarkable, vulnerable thing with Fellow Travelers which will be a liberating series for many for generations. I am glad he was given that part both for himself and for us. Love everything he is in, but he will always be mostly Tim for me. Such brilliant work.
It's a music for my ears to listen to him talk about something he loves and feels passionate about. Thank you for this interview, I can watch it for hours.
You're a treasure, Johnny. First discovered you through G'raha, who I already loved as a character before he had a voice. You made him come alive. I've been a fan of your work ever since. Keep slaying
Just randomly found this video, I don't know what most other things are here, but I certainly know G'raha Tia! I really loved the delivery on that character, it fits so well in the world.
FINALLY SOME TALKING ABOUT CRASHING I COULDN'T REALLY FIND ANY INTERVIEWS!! I absolutely loved the series, the scenes are really authentic and funny. At first I didn't really recognize Jonathan (but I knew him because of bridgerton) and realizing it's him made the series even better. After fellow travelers I'm more than amazed by jonathan, he's a great actor.
wow he is so wonderful 🥰 I've loved a lot of his work but never heard him talk before. the way he spoke about the importance of stories here makes my heart so full, what a lovely person
Graha has always stood out to me for being written so well, but I also took note of how stunning the voice acting was. Very easy character to make off putting but he brought so much authenticity to the role!
Jonathan’s voice is so soothing. I’ve actually fallen asleep while listening to him speak in an interview. Please keep this content coming. He should start a RU-vid channel and talk about anything. Even if it’s reading a newspaper article a day I would absolutely listen to it 💯 3:35 Genius 💡 12:31 Awww how sweet! I think it’s somewhat already happening in Bridgerton because Anthony is the only father figure that Gregory and Hyacinth know and those scenes are so precious 🥹
Totally loved this, so intriguing to hear his amazing voice and his take on his experiences with each character. He is fantastic in all his roles, such a joy to watch!!
What a great video! Jonathan is so down to earth and so many things he's saying resonate with me deeply. Thank you so much. Excited to see his actor path unfold more and more over the upcoming years
Jonathan was particularly memorable on Doctor Who, as cyborg Psi in the episode _Time Heist_ which also featured the shapeshifter Sabra, two delightful characters, who felt so well-realized as one-off companions with surprisingly deep bonds with Peter Capaldi's Doctor and Clara, that I hope they can be brought back into the DW universe in some form or other someday! Also it kills me that Crashing has no S2! That whole gang had such fantastic chemistry as friends. Sam is such a bisexual disaster and his relationship with Fred is a rollercoaster in the best way.
Wow, I don't know if anyone else caught this, but when he's talking about the TV series Leonardo, they show a still of him in a scene from the show and the in the background is Colin Ryan who voices Alphinaud.
I just found out he is the voice of G'raha Tia and I am so in love with his voice and acting. Particularly that that he just has a G'raha Tia quote on hand. 😍❤️
Still wondering how the whole Bridgerton family dynamic will be with a vicountess now. Kate is great at managing things (esp. managing Anthony), but Violet is still everyone's mom and although Anthony might have managed a lot of the paperwork etc., she always seemed to be the true head of the house to me, looking out for the others in many other regards. As much as she would deserve a break, I can't picture her perfectly satisfied with retirement and zero responsibility. :D
My first experience with Johnny Bailey was actually in a series I discovered via Robert Sheehan, titled "Me and Mrs. Jones". His character is so amusingly chaotic. Then I reached Shadowbringers in FFXIV a year or so later and was like "damn why does this voice sound so familiar????" only discover it was him again! (There's a copy of Me and Mrs. Jones somewhere here on youtube if anyone fancies a watch, it's only a brief 6 ep series.)
I hope one day Bethan Walker, Colin Ryan and Peter Bramhill manage to rope him into this fandom as wall and drag him with them to conventions and interviews. (Didn't hear anything of the sort, but one can hope...?)
