Jonathan literally got the wind beneath his wings from her. She championed him. His voice is powerful. They could have stayed together, practiced. She did wonderfully well here. What a gracious, beautiful girl, with a gorgeous soul, who brought him out, baggy jeans, gave him the platform not soar. Bless Charlotte.
I love Charlotte. Her voice got heard in this rendition unlike some of the other songs where it was over powered by his and her voice is just beautiful.

yes, charlotte voice is so beautiful an powerful, but very common, Jonathan voice is more powerful, beautiful and overall Unique, Jonathan voice is this kind of voices that we have once in a decade.
Wow, this has got to be the best version of them singing that song together. Their harmony is beautiful, you can sense that Jonathan has way more power than he uses.
They do this song on their BGT audition, and his voice is 10 times as powerful, just like when he does a solo performance. I honestly much prefer the BGT one since he can really show off how amazing his voice is.
I think (in this video) that charlottes voice is better, but also that jonathan is better at controlling the power of his voice, making more headroom for charlotte in their harmony. :)
They are both world-class singers without a doubt. Jonathan has a perfect voice for a man and Charlotte has the perfect voice for a woman but they’re just as good as each other.
I have never been a fan of opera, that is until now. I doubt you will see this but thank you Jonathan and Charlotte. My only prayer is that Jonathan you will stay the same great person, as your voice is, that first walked on the stage of Britain's Got Talent and Charlotte thank you for bringing this to us and your voice of an angel
God touched them both, without her he would never had the confidence to appear on BGT... her voice is not even in the same stratosphere as his, but her belief in him was strong enough for them both. but the true miracle is their music teacher who heard Gods touch in their voices...😊 AMAZING

Still love listening over and over 10 years after BGT! I watch their original audition regularly, it a!ways brings me to tears and oh how they have both just blossomed.

Charlotte is proof Simon Powell can be wrong. But his curse upon Charlotte lives on. Nobody wanted to pick her up after Simon told Johnathan to dump her. Sad. She does have such a beautiful voice. It was the two of them that got me into Opera. I never conceived anyone could walk in off the street and perform like that. Now I'm an Opera Snob, listening to every little syllable and comparing singers. Thank you Charlotte and Johnathan for opening my eyes up to a fantastic genre.
Her trouble is, she's very good. But Jonathan has shown to be a once in a generation quality singer, who will some day be looked at as one of the great singers in history, mentioned right up there with Andrea Bocelli, Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo, and José Carreras. I cannot imagine, having the capability of singing like one of them.
on AGT when they sang the prayer, for me they both were good and the voices complimented eachother and if it was only jonathan it wouldnt had the same effect for me.

OMG...Charlotte!!! She's developed the power too, in her voice.....to rise up and above, over Jonathan's powerful voice! And of course even though this was recorded years ago.

Charlotte's voice has improved so much since BGT.. Both have helped each other mature into amazing singers. Stunning how much Jonathan has matured into his voice.
It pleases me that Jonathan did not leave Charlotte behind I think she helped him an awful lot when he first started and I'm glad to see that they are still together he did not forget his friend
I have never been very big on male opera singers, but this mans voice is absolutely gorgeous! These two give me full body chills, and bring me to tears just about every time that I hear them sing! Truly a gift from God! I just have not the words to explain or express anything when it comes to them! I am truly moved!
I love Jonathan and Charlotte's shows I am so glad I leaved that long to have such waderful privilege to enjoy such personalities as artists. I watched your very first show at 16 and 17 yrs old may you sing for ever and make life joyful for you and the world. Thank you very much. At his sold out Toronto concerts last year filmed for PBS, Compass, Country Roads, Empty Chairs at Empty Tables, Summertime, Moon River, Caruso, Can You Feel the Love Tonight, the lullaby- Baby Mine and more, all here on RU-vid. His Nessun Dorma is Stunning! After 2 successful albums and a tour together, Sony offered them each a solo contract. Charlottes album was released first, she then returned to Music Arts School. She now has a successful career in Musical Theatre, which was always her dream, and has performed in Londons West End!
I could listen and listen their singing magnificent so beautiful real artists such a talents. They will never loose audience they will singing for the rest of their lives, not like other cheap so called singers just for 1 or 2 seasons with no voice just selling their body, Jonathan is a next Pavarotti.Thank you for the music.
Charlotte, apparently you have found some of the path to happiness yourself and we are all happy for you. I also want to thank you for being the true friend Jonathan needed to really open up to the world. You are a gift, both of you.
i like how they look at each other for reassurance...i also really like how jonathan said in the audition that they would stay a duo to simon and that charlotte was so graceful when simon said she would hold him back... i hope they are still friends
To be fair Charlotte's bloody good, it's just a pity she'll be compared to Jonathan all the time, and be thought of as the lesser in the duo. She's a seriously good singer.

It was a great performance. Charlotte was great and so was Jonathan. Ignore simons criticism. It was only meant to draw attention to Charlotte and Jonathan that’s all.
I also think that she did good here, alright. But I wouldn't say she's one of the very splendid opera acts, that I've listened to. Plus, it's pretty obvious that they went back to the drawing boards to rein in Jonathan's talent, advancing Charlotte in this business of singing as a duo. She was practically inconspicuous at their xfactor audition.
Oh wow, came across this u tube today. I love Bocelli from Italy I believe. He can sing the prayer song. Yet another version like your guys was truly awesome.
I love this vid, Charlotte is the lead in this one and it really shows just how beautiful her voice really is. Charlotte and Jonathan are perfect together. I hope they stay together for a long long time.
Charlotte would be absolutely perfect for singing as a Disney Princess. I'm not sure what Disney films are like these days. In the 80s and 90s, the lead women were princesses but maybe they're not now. But if I were to cast a Disney 'princess' now, I'd have Charlotte be the voice. She has exactly the 'pureness' and the 'beautifulness' I'd expect.
Charlotte is a great singer and she's really entertaining to listen to. This dude Jonathan though...when he sings I get goosebump and I can feel my tears start to well up. I get a visceral, emotional reaction from him. Charlotte is terrific, but I don't think anyone will ever say the same thing about her singing.
I've heard this song many times and this is my favorite version. They are both amazing singers in their own right. Charlotte you knocked this one out of the park! Jonathan, you never disappoint. God bless both of you!
