It's so awesome that God timed this movie to come out right in the midst of our own Jesus revolution with Asbury + it spreading to other campuses!!

My husband and I were a part of The Jesus Revolution. Here we are 50 years later seeing this brought back,the joy of my salvation. Well done!

I was baptized at Pirates Cove in 1975 by Pastor Chuck Smith. It was pure beauty.

I became a Christian in 1972, high school, my parents were very worried that I had become a "Jesus Freak". We'd say, "no", we are loved by Jesus! What a life changer. I am now 68 and a Lutheran Pastor. I love sharing the Gospel hoping for another wonderful revival.....God is on the Move. Thanks so much to you all for sharing your wondering art!

Our church just baptized 21 people and tears just stream continually when I see this- even though this is a movie scene it still made me cry!!! Yeshua is coming so soon PEOPLE MUST KNOW!!!!

The last two Chosen episodes were live streamed on the 5th and the 7th. On the 8th Asbury Church had a service that never ended. They're going to end that service on Wednesday which is the same day this movie comes out. I don't believe in coincidences. I think God is definitely moving. No human being arranged this timing.

Jonathan has to be the best "Jesus" actor to ever play the part. You can see the love of Jesus in his facial expressions and in his voice towards the disciples and the people he encounters in the Chosen!! Can't wait to see The Jesus Revolution!!

Over 50 years ago, I was part of this "revolution". It has always been a blessing in my life. 50 years is the Jubilee--forgiveness and renewal. It is time once again.

In Texas to see Jesus Revolution we are fans of the Chosen. We host watch parties in Mexico where we serve God full time. A Jesus Revival.

For my birthday February 13th, I only wanted 2 things. I wanted to go see the feeding of the 5000 at the movies which I did and it was so worth it and to go see Jesus Revolution, which I am going this week with a girlfriend. You must know I have not gone to the movies since 2010...so awesome job guys, you got me out there twice in many years!!

Jonathan is really an amazing actor. When I see him in conversations like this, he's just a guy. But when he's playing Jesus, you really feel like you're watching Jesus! I believe the Holy Spirit is helping him, but he was obviously CHOSEN for a reason!

I was blessed to have seen it on Sunday because someone wasn't able to go, so I was able to get their ticket as it was sold out. I cried watching it, and to hear that people were asking to be baptized for real during this film just shows how God was moving with his Holy Spirit so so beautiful! To God be all the Glory, and Honor, and Praise! I am so glad that you made this movie! Thank you! I can imagine how many people will be saved by watching it. :)

That lady who was baptized by Johnathan has the coolest story. She can say she was baptized on a film set in California...God is doing amazing things and it makes me so incredibly grateful to be alive at this time. I can't wait to see what He does next. 😊

Seeing this after I saw the movie, I love the side by side look at Jonathan in both films. I really was baptized by Lonnie in Pirate's cove in the summer of 1969, when I was 18... Thanks, Jonathan, in Chosen you and the team have created real people from two dimensional words in the Bible, and played Lonnie out of a page in my life...truly a Jesus moment for me personally. ❤️ Thanks, my brothers.

Thank you so much for this interview and for showing the water baptism scene. As I watched it, I was overcome with tears as God brought to my memory a dream he had once given me a few nights before I went to a friend's water baptism. In the dream, my friend's car crashed. When I ran over to make sure she was ok, she came out from underneath the car but then split into two versions of herself. One version was cast in a dark shadow, while the other version of her was wearing all white. They separated and walked in opposite directions. God helped me to understand that this is what happens to us at baptism. Our old sinful nature is separated from us and what remains is one who has been forgiven and washed cleaned of all sins. I began weeping uncontrollably as I remembered this dream while watching the baptism scene from Jesus Revolution. In a similar fashion, I wept uncontrollably while watching The Chosen and the scene where Jesus healed Mary Magdalene. You all are doing God's work, and changing lives, and helping people to find their Savior again or for the first time. Never stop what you're doing and I pray that God will forever provide for these sorts of projects to be made and that He will be in the midst of all the decisions that you all make. Because where the spirit of the Lord is, there is deliverance!!

My husband and I went to see Jesus Revolution movie last night. It was beautiful and very well done. Everyone in the movie theater clapped at the end of the movie. Watching Jonathan in both the Chosen and the Jesus Revolution was amazing. He is a great actor. I pray that this generation can experience another Jesus Revolution, because we all need Him.

I'm so happy to see these two productions side-by-side! Jesus Revolution is the movie that saved my marriage and brought my husband and I to Christ. The Chosen is a series that has transformed the Bible and Scripture for us both. I have heard Pastor Greg MANY times as we would go to Big Calvary to hear him and watch the many salvation decisions during the week, even though we had our own church for Sundays. I just was listening to Isaiah interview Pastor Greg And my husband immediately recognized his voice. We have seen him later at Harvest Crusades. He is an amazing, God anointed evangelist. Dallas, be thankful, not resentful (sounding) that Jonathan did this film, even if it was close to the filming start of S3. There will be much fruit from this and the more films like this the better. As Jonathan is right for the role of Jesus in The Chosen; he is also exactly the right person for this role.

God is so great... I was blessed to view Jesus Revolution last night. I just chit chatted with a lady sitting next to me for a bit. After the movie God wanted me to pray with her. I willingly asked her if I can pray for her about anything. She seemed surprised and then quickly said yes. She revealed her prayer request to me so I layed my hand on her shoulder and prayed over her, as we cried together. She then said now I know the reason why I was suppose to be here tonight. To GOD be ALL the glory!!!! May we always be sensitive and willing when we are led by God! 🙏✝️🕊🙌

I LOVE you guys are together talking about Jesus. The Erwin Bros are close to my heart....(love Andy and Mandi) I will DEFINITELY see this in theaters.....And ...No one gives a "Jesus" hug like Jonathan. 🥰 I love that this is a GOD thing!!! The Chosen is the Gospel in the time period...and Jesus Revolution is more modern. And the glue is played by Jonathan. This is SOOOOO from God!!!!

The real Jesus Revolution spurred a revival on my college campus and as a result I was saved in January 1970. Praise God! I was also at Explo ‘72 which was another awesome experience being in the Cotton Bowl with so many other Christians. Then the outdoor concert was such a blessing. It was a “groovy” period of time. I pray that it does happen again in an even bigger way.

I plan to see the movie this Friday with some friends :) ! Saw the trailer when I went to see the last two episodes of The Chosen. It looks so uplifting! So thankful for these films for so many to see.

So excited to see the Jesus Revolution. I went to Harvest, Greg Laurie's church in Riverside CA for many years when I lived there & also attended Chuck Smiths Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa CA a few times when Pastor Chuck was preaching. So blessed by those ministries, they helped me study the Bible in depth. Praise God for all this and I Love the Chosen & Jonathan Roumie. He portrays Jesus so beautifully!! GOD IS MOVING!! I just watched the movie this afternoon, after asking God several times to please not let it be disappointing. The theatre was full, which made me happy. AND I was very impressed. Everything about it was awesome; the movie should win awards for best this, best that; the actors did great. Gained more respect for Jonathan. Kelsey is a titan; he really won the Catholic audience and made us see how we Christians should be united. I don't think anybody could have played the role of Chuck Smith better than he did. I can't say enough about this movie; it has to be watched on the big screen, not on TV, so I hope everybody watched it now. Everything and everyone in it is superb!

My Parish was packed today for Ash Wednesday!!! You and all the faithful are making a difference. The joyful days are coming when our Parishes and Churches will be astounded by the many wanted to get baptized and saved.

Jesus!! We LOVE Jesus!!!!! My BEST friend in all the world! That was my conversion, in one night I cried so hard because I knew I what I had done to MY best friend. The story was much more indepth and was a total of four days but I knew, saw my sin and the rest well....got a whole lot harder in life and I will always give God the Praise for all of it! Hello Jonathan nice to see you again

I was saved thru the Calvary Chapel movement in February 1975 at age 24. I was baptized in Mission Bay, San Diego by Pastor Mike Macintosh Mike was part of movement under Pastor Chuck Smith. He branched off from Costa Mesa to Point Loma, and the fellowship was called Maranatha Chapel. It was all young people, and all newly saved believers. The Holy Spirit was so present and I can hardly explain how powerful the worship and singing was. I was forever changed.

I saw the movie last night. I loved it. Thank you so much. God is bringing everything to a crescendo now to bring in the massive harvest of souls to be won. Again. But this one is going to be even bigger than back then as He's also began the revivals now spreading throughout the country.

May God continue to work through you all 🙏 and Jonathan the Holy Spirit guides your footsteps 👣 🙏 thank you all for giving us Hope in these troubling times. GOD BE WITH YOU ALL in the days ahead. 🌻

Just saw Jesus Revolution, it was also spectacular. I enjoyed it so much! Wow, Jonathan certainly is having a lot of what have to be life changing roles and nailing all of them. God is just pouring out His Spirit on all three of you, and I surely will pray with you that He continues to pour out His Spirit on our whole nation and world. Can’t wait to see Jesus Revolution. Have tickets for tonight 2/22. God did this for me as I will be having neck surgery tomorrow 2/23. I want to go into this surgery with the images and thoughts of this Jesus Revolution. I lived during the original Jesus Revolution. I believe God is using The Chosen (which I absolutely LOVE) and this movie along with the Asbury University and Revival to bring many people to Himself. Once again I have found a video that is 😅obviously at l😂least a year old and I am so thankful to watch. I saw Jesus Revolution when it first came out. I only discovered the Chosen about 9 months ago. I know however what the Revolution role meant to Jonathan because I’ve watched Jonathan &Jesus a couple of times! I am well blessed by finding the three if you! Thank you! My hope (but probably not happening) that somehow you will see comments that are a year later!!! ❤

I was at Explo 72 and it was an amazing experience. A friend and i went in the wrong gate one night and wound up meeting Billy Graham, Johnny Cash and Tom Landry at the Cotton Bowl. I was saved but i only began to realize what that really meant in Dallas at Explo. Remember Andre Crouch and the Disciples and Larry Norman. Singing there was amazing.

Jonathan truly embodied Jesus, I have seen anyone else do this! Very good actor!
