Finally someone that can sing live like in the original recording. That's extremely rare in these last generations since technology's blossomed with vocal enhancement equipment used in studios. These real vocalists impress the f**k out of me!
Still listening, I was disappointed that JD didn’t get to do the vocals for the Queen of the Damned movie I was stoked when it was announced that he would do the soundtrack.
@@guy1902he did perform these songs that he wrote for the movie, they’re in the movie! He was not contractually able to feature on the released soundtrack album so had the following to do the vocals in his place: David from Disturbed, Chester from Linkin Park, Wayne from Static X, Jay from Orgy and Marilyn Manson.
NOTE: The haunting Middle Eastern sounding violin music in the movie and soundtrack is the East Indian music composer/musician L. Shankar. Shankar is the one that wrote that haunting music that the Gypsy Woman played with Lestat Called: "On the Beach, Lestat's Violin"
Jonathans version is the original and the best in my opinion. I really like Davids version also but no one can sing quite like JD, his voice fits this soundtrack perfectly. Each to thier own though....
No other singer sings this deep within thierselves with the emotions this raw on every song. True artist! Been my favorite since '93 and still to this day. You can feel every word he sings.
the OST for the movie queen of the damned was given by Jonathan Davis and Peter Gibbs! Jon Davis performed it in the movie and Disturbed did it for the album. Like Chester benington did System on the album. but the original music is by JD!
jonathan davis wrote and sung all the songs in the movie as Vampire Lastat, but on the soundtrack they used other artist such as . disturbed, orgy, manson, static x, linkin park.
@ryungblood ALWAYS!!! He puts his heart ❤️ and soul into his performance ALWAYS!!!! 🎶🎼🖤🤘💀🥰. That's one of the things that I absolutely LOVE about him🎼❤️🖤!!!!
