I've seen Spiner on stage alone. He's funny. I've seen Frakes on stage alone. He's funny. The two of them together... is absolute chaos. I think they only answered about 5 questions, but I'm sure everyone had a good time. I can't imagine what working on the show with those two must have been like. :-)
This was great! Really enjoyed these two; so funny together. I've heard that the actors from this show have all stayed in touch with each other over the years. That proves the comedic chemistry they all had. Lovely.
Don´t you mean the other way round? Jonathan Frakes was all over the place. Brent Spiner kept it together as much as he could. Frakes needs to be kept in a leash.
They're both real nice men. If you come up to either one of them they'll be real nice and talk to you. I saw that them at a comic con in Germany. You can see that they're very good friends.
TNG... Jonathan always bowed his head... every scene... ok... he was probably a tall guy.. but seeing him here.. he is a really tall guy... and I do understand why... to keep he's head in the camera and not hitting the low scenery...
as a parent, when my child gets loud or acts up, I take him outside and play with him so others can enjoy whatever is going on, it upsets me that people paid money to watch the actors struggle to hear questions, People nowadays lack sooo much respect.
If you don't know by now, the entire cast doesn't give a damn because of what they had to put up with filming, and going to conventions for 30 years. You do it and see if you don't lose some sanity; the only way to keep yourself sane is to just say, fuck it.
This is hilarious and amazing. You'd almost wonder if they were drunk if it wasn't for the coherency...but hey you gotta make Convention Number Ten Million fun somehow! I'm still curious what happened at 10:52 that they react to. It's after the guy says "If you sign it!" (referring to his ear if they removed it), something happens on the other side that they say is horrible. Anyone know?
No-one has ever said this but me: l think that Jonathan looks like William Shatner - more so when he was younger. I always wondered if that was why he was selected for the role.🤔
No, I thought the same thing in the first season of TNG. Some cereal brand or other did a promotion with trading cards of the characters in each box and I got William Riker and said that he must have gotten the job because he looked like Shatner. Over time less so (the beard helped) but early on, oh yes.
At 4:43. Have not heard that terrible joke since 1977. Thought I was the only one who remembered "wood eye, wood eye...hairlip, hairlip"...and thought it was funny. LOL.
I feel bad that these guys have to do these things and deteriorate what they did with the show, but I guess a bunch of nerds & dorks would throw a big fit if they didn't.
@magnetothewhite - Hey I have no idea. I'm not them. And I'm sure they're getting paid handsomely to do this. I loved the show & would have been honored to have been involved with the cast, so maybe I'm wrong. Only thing I know is that the only Star Trek series I liked was TNG. Nothing before or after that.
