The defensive coordinator has to be questioned about no adjustments, what did you do to stop them when you needed the stop with the game tied and they are deep in there own territory.. If they moved on from him it would be just a little surprising. He is just way too damn soft.

@@WarrenFranceSportsNetwork Yeah, I just didn't see the defense coming up that small, and I will mostly put it on the d line and linebackers, where was Brandon Graham and Fletcher Cox, ok you know that Mahomes is not going to hold onto the ball, right so I expected them to try and get a push up the middle and make him uncomfortable, but my god they got no pressure, and number 43, I guess he is a linebacker, but the guy is ALWAYS out of position, ALWAYS, terrible player, I can't even kill the secondary, they held Kelse in check pretty much, but damn get a stop, you know having said that, if the Chiefs kick that field goal with 2:00 minutes left, the Eagles win that game anyway. Eagles defense shit the bed, period. And I disagree with Seth in the fact that Hurts threw the ball too much. Hurts had a 72% completion percentage at the end of the game. If he's throwing for 72% then I don't care if throws 100x in 1 game. Offense put up 28 points (-7 because of turnover). With that defense, 28 should've been enough to win the game. Defense failed the team.

The toughest thing wasn't seeing Jalen choking the ball up for TD, not the punter kicking a mulligan for more points, not the ferocious pass rushers not getting anywhere the whole game, not officiating, not our lead RB hardly touching the ball, but what it was, and something should have been in bold to defend, were all the walk-in TD's. We focused on Kelce, and didn't think about what KC would do if we did? The alternate tore us apart, and so did Kelce. Complete fail, and what I attribute the loss most to. Outcoached-2nd half.

Guy is acting like because Mahomes threw for 182 yds he had a bad game. Mahomes was 21/27 3TDs 96.4QBR, 131.8RTG and ran for 44 yards. Mahomes was damn near perfect. He just didn't need to put up that many attempts because the Chiefs defense scored a TD and stole a possession and the the Chiefs special teams left him with a punt return on the 5. Plus the Chiefs running backs ran over the top of the eagles in the 2nd half.

Playing tennis, I learned a lesson about strategy during a match. Don't change a winning game, always change a losing game. The defense didn’t adjust. Mahomes was rolling, and they didn't try something different. They acted like they were playing the teams they racked up all their wins against. Mostly garbage. They were playing a more experienced team with the best QB in the league. Plus Andy? He befuddled them.

Seth, the eagles offense overall played good enough to win. They had to throw the ball because the eagles defense wasn't getting any stops. I think they were planning to run the ball but the chiefs were stopping the run and eagles defense wasn't getting enough stops to maintain the lead so they were forced to throw the ball.

What's more important, your individual stats or winning the game? Keep your stats, I'll take the wins, especially in the super bowl. This was like Belichick's scheme for the Giants defense in their win over Buffalo - let them run for a hundred miles but smack their passing game, beat up their receivers and we'll win. It wasn't pretty and the the Giants won on a missed field goal - but they won. So force Jalen to throw all day for a thousand yards, let him run around all day and have a great completion percentage, but don't let them win the time of possession war (run and grind) and be the last team to score - the Chief's scheme all year with a "new" team. Besides, Jalen Hurts was the ONLY player that really stepped up for the Eagles and you needed more. We know football is a team sport, if your defense is playing poorly then it's up to your offense to hold onto the ball and score more to keep the defense off the field while running the clock. So maybe the Eagles offense should have scored on every possession like the Chiefs did to offset their team's lack of defensive performance? Stop blaming the DC for the HC's failure to properly manage the team before and during game time plus have the special team guys kinda keep their lanes, never know when the punter might shank one

I want to report a crime. The defensive line of the eagles went missing during the super bowl. Slay was drunk, as twice when the kc receiver ran his way, he was seen running the opposite direction leaving a wide open receiver and very large gain. Hurts played great. Only one mistake. The problem is that the players didn’t match the front Gannon decided to go with. If Gannon was going to go with a 4-3 Brandon Graham should have got significant playing time and I don’t think he even got on the field. Hasan Reddick as exceptional as he is is not big enough to play 320 lb. OTs for 60 minutes and that’s exactly what they tried to have him do. Jordan Davis still looks like he has major foot problems, so I see why they may have cut down on the 5-man big fronts, but Brandon Graham and Reddick on the same side would have been better and more aggressive then an extra pass defender.

Phila lost this game 2 yrs ago when they fired Doug Pederson b/c he wanted Wentz out & Lurie & Roseman publicly Begged Wentz to stay....... Everyone talking about Jalen's fumble like that was the only thing that cost them the game. Mahomes had a similar fumble in the AFC championship game, and the Bengals scored a TD. Fortunately for him, they won that game. The defense sucked big time. They couldn't get a stop, a takeaway, a sack, nada. If the so-called vaunted defense just made one stop, they won the game. The DC made no adjustments. It was the same thing throughout the game. It was not the D that kept the Chiefs off the field in the first half; it was the long drives that the Eagles had.

It was a game of 2 halves and the Eagles had the Chiefs buried in the first half then they gave them 7 points with the fumble, and only had a 10 point lead at the half!!

Cannon did not attempt to make any adjustments at all, with no effort to make any move. He was holding the usual half-sheet paper of his defensive game plan. What a shame ! Wasting the players's opportunity to get the ring which may not come again any sooner. He should be fired, period!!!

I think you guys are being way to hard on your defense. Point is that the Chiefs offensive front line has been under rated all year and massively stepped up and the Eagles never even touched Mahomes for no sacks. TBH Andy Reid out schemed with brilliant play calls being excellently executed by Mahomes. It was a great game.

Anyone with eyes could see that Philly saw Mahomes hurt before halftime and thought they had it won. He came right out and hit them in the mouth and the rest is HISTORY. They choked.

Games are not won by statistics from previous games.Every game is different,Chief receivers were left wide open,so they just walked into the end zone.I think the Eagles thought they had this game in the bag when they had all that momentum in the first half.Eagles defense just got lazy in the second half and let the game slip away.
