I can see him hosting the Tonys in a few years. Like Hugh J. and NPH, he can sing, dance & act, he's charming and has great stage presence. So excited that he's becoming truly well known!!
When he said "you look so good in those khakis!" I really wanted to quote Spring Awakening and say "you look so nasty in those khakis" is that just me?
I don't think he could be more adorable than he already is. And he is very, very smart about his career. He chooses projects that allow him to show his versatility, both musically and dramatically, and he balances stage, film and television impressively. I like and admire the balance between his private life and his public persona. And he's genuinely sweet and kind. I know. I met him before he became a star and he's a right guy. I wish him the very best.
Just when you think you can't love this guy any more than you do already, he pulls off that stunning tap dance. 💜💜 {he must have been warm in that sweater}
Just when I thought it was impossible to love Jonathan Groff even more, I find this video, congratulations Jonathan, I love you you're awesome amazing sexy funny incredibly talented and a lot of other things, I love you!
Nope. Jonathan Groff is openly gay. He came out years ago, and he's currently in a relationship with Zachary Quinto. Quinto officially confirmed it to OUT magazine back in September,saying “I’m incredibly happy, I’m incredibly lucky.” What comes to Lea Michelle, Jon was never dating her, they are just very good friends. So unfortunately no woman can have him, except in our dreams x)
+RU-vidr's Montage He's not mocking her in the sense of belittling her, but she's definitely his take-off point. The absurdity of his duplicating her long routine in such detail is (as intended) more fun the more detailed and correct it is.
Definitely gay. He said to Broadway.com during an equality march that he was "gay and proud" and is confirmed in a relationship with Zachary Quinto, and has been for a year, so, no, he was not with Lea Michele. He has never been with her. He has been gay the whole time he's been on stage, which includes the off-broadway and broadway productions of Spring Awakening.
There is nothing like watching an exquisitely talented performer truly enjoying themselves on stage. His joy in fulfilling this dream is palpable even on video.
I was just King George III in my dance studio’s production of Hamilton and Millie in my school’s production of Thoroughly Modern Millie so this is so fun watching the originators of those roles clash in this video.
I'm a huuge St. Berry/ Groffchele shipper (JGroff and Lea Michele) but though it hurts to say this, he really is gay. And a lot has accepted this fact already. He was never romantically involved with Lea Michele. They're just best friends.
Fun. The camera operator ... not so. I always get front row balcony because I want to see it all; everyone on stage and all the work they put into it. A zoom lens and different angles every five seconds ... no place for it in theater, people. Better you just have a stationary camera with the aperture opened just enough to encase the whole stage. Sorry, this is a pet peeve of mine.
Jonathan Geoff seems to be capable of great love. Both lea and Zachary are very lucky. So are we because he is so talented and loves to share that talent with us. I'm so glad he's here. Thanks Jon!
So sexuality is what defines if you can sing? Could you possibly be more disrespectful...gays aren't any worse people than straight guys JGroff has a killer voice. He's done a lot of singing,including Broadway,so I am pretty sure he can sing Plus,I'd like to hear you singing that...just so I could see if you can prove what you said
JGroff himself confirmed that he's not singing.He'd love to,but they won't let him.Out of all songs they couldn't give just one to him? Maybe he's simply too great,I can't think any other reason to this ;))
I bet Jon knows he`s not LuPone and he`s not trying to be her.I also wouldn`t judge people who have been on Broadway.JGroff has really good voice and I don`t hear any flaw in it.
