I never took it that Rachel just wanted to be married. She wanted someone who was SURE about her. She had said she had been in previous relationships where she had been strung along and men think that she’s great but hesitate to make that final leap. On the show, Bryan gave her that security / reassurance that he knew he wanted her. I think she never was against a long engagement - Rachel is a smart woman. But Peter didn’t know if he wanted to even be engaged to her - when that’s the point of the show. Peter represented her prior relationships where the words were there but the actions were missing. (Also it came out later that he had a girlfriend at home and is full-on red pill now etc).

Happy New Year. I’m sad about Brian and Rachel. Years of living East and West Coast and he always supported and championed her career and had to go thru the upset of the Harrison interview. Four years married and trying for a baby, it’s a shock actually. There’s never a certainty that babies will arrive there’s no certainty of anything. Here’s to a positive 2024 for both of them. 😮

I agree with you and Rachel and Bryan. She LOVED Peter. I wanted her to end up with him because you can tell they were into each other. I couldn't buy into her relationship and chemistry with Bryan and Rachel. Scrappy repeats the same behavior, so I don't think he wil change with Erica. Scrappy likes to go back to people feels comfortable with because he can't be alone.

I never thought Rachel loved Peter it was always Bryan. I rooted for Rachel and Bryan. They were in love. I don’t know where Bryan gets off trying to get spousal support from Rachel . He doesn’t need money like that. I am disappointed in him.

Damn I had the biggest crush on Peter back when that season aired. He was a FINE man. I understand why Rachel didn’t choose him, but I think he was a lot more real in that he didn’t want to marry someone he just met. He seemingly had real feelings for her and I think he just wanted a longer engagement. Brian always seemed fake to me, like he would just agree to whatever. I would have more faith in someone who said they loved me but weren’t ready for marriage, than someone who said they were ready that quick. But hey they lasted for a long time so what do I know 😂😂 apparently them being on different pages about having kids is a big part of the issue according to what Bryan said. It’s weird bc previous he had said he wanted kids. But now he says basically she wanted kids and he didn’t.
