No one will ever understand the depths the world the environment the feeling and emotions that made many come to SF it was a place like no other. It was a night club that changed our lives thank you to the creators of Soundfactory and to Jonathan Peters whom was an amazing icon an idol a brother an uncle a dad a woman who was the most incredible Dj in this world. Thank you for the memories and I’m happy JP is still rocking it. Thank you SF I’m so happy I got to experience this awesome night club I called my home. ❤ and although it changed to Pacha 🍒 we still greatly appreciate for fighting to keep that feeling lasting til the closing chapter of the most incredible stories I share with the young generation that have no idea what night life was all about. Now we live in worst times but I pray it gets better . Who knows maybe will experience that wild experience again wink wink 😉
I will never forget o the stairs and Steve flipped the switch and the lights were bananas. I don't care what anyone says JP and Steve hands down untouchable
You never really experienced life if you never went to Factory on Sundays. Fridays was cool but hearing JP spin Sunday mornings was a different level. I miss that place. They’ll never be another place like this EVER
I just can't figure out given how good this guy is why the current house music/rave circuit isn't scooping him up on the regular. 20 years later and it's as good as anything out there.
Amazing night at the factory that Halloween ! I remember getting there about 2am -3am and staying until early afternoon. What a great time to party . Not a care in the world just great music, great place , great people and amazing memories!!!!
The yellow And white did it for me with this track and especially when the mellow beat drops and those lights come bouncing off that disco ball..and the beat is so happy all 5,000 people smiling, vibe is amazing!! And you can't not dance to that beat..
Twelve hours, thirteen hours, 16 hours, 20 hours in and the house would still blow the roof off. That’s what made US different, that’s what made SF the greatest club ever. WE made it like that, so to all my crew, all the old school peeps, I love you all.
I remember leaving one time around 10am on Sunday and some woman walking her dog heard the bass thumping and as I walked by she asked what that was so I told her it was coming from the sound factory .. she asked me what that was so I told her it was a night club. And I’ll never forget her response .. she asked me in a high pitched surprised voice “And it’s still going?” 🤣🤣🤣
@@Johnny2FeathersI always loved the interactions with normal people after Factory. We went to Food Emporium once and there was maybe 8 of us. Oh boy did that store have something to talk about, all the girls with us were wearing skimpy outfits and like 4 inch heels, everyone was high as the sky, and we were just wild.
@@carlosorozcogarcia6394I would usually get there at 6am...I remember one time, the group in font of me in line told me they had just gone to sunrise service at their church, and now we're going to their "2nd church"(factory)
@@anthonyant1589 everyone time you "found" a step it was like winning the lottery...i remember being banged up and getting lost in the main bathroom at TUNNEL for like an hour. ID get out,and my boys were like "you were only gone for 5 minutes!"....
I remember one night one dude must have sold the entire SF the same E because the shit made everyone sit down and just listen to the music calmly. It was the craziest shit I’ve ever seen. The dance floors were empty. Does anyone remember this?
Sometimes I didn't even show up until 7am. During theme party nights Club would open at 11pm Saturday night and wouldn't close until Monday some parties. It was a much different time in nyc. Think space miami but in nyc.
We would sleep Saturday night wake up early shower change quick workout then off to sf for the day. Then after it closed on Sunday depending on time people would head to neptunes, surfclub then back to Manhattan for asseteria Sunday night.
So 3 weekends out of the month it would be normal hours Club open Saturday 11pm. Close round 10am Sunday. Once a month they did theme parties. And the club would close whenever jonathan peters decided to stop playing could be Sunday afternoon Sunday night or Monday. If you went to bed Saturday night slept 8 hours woke up ate breakfest you could easily last all day Sunday. They also served fruit and we were allowed to order outside food for delivery "if you knew someone". I won't get into how people lasted so long in the club. Let's just say it was a different Era in nyc club world and things were alot more pure.
@@razzati420 manning that is a trip, how much was it to get in?? Did sound factory turn into pacha? Sorry I left nyc in 2019 im in texas now so idk if clubs closed down or turned into different ones
@razzati420 i know, i know. He is my favorite DJ and hes worked records after more hours. Thats not it though. The produced version isnt good either to me. I swear its about his only song i think isnt good. Idk, its disjointed. Doesnt flow great. 100-1 record still oretty damn good.
Oh i totally agree the produced version isnt even good lol It was just the time and place and the way he worked the vocals live. The song in general sucks lol.@@dannylenio9884
THE TUNNEL NYC WEST 27th and 12th BLOWS AWAY SOUND FACTORY!!!! ABSOLUTELY THE BEST CLUB EVER!!!!! NOT EXIT NOT SOUND FACTORY NOT LIMELIGHT (which was another awesome club) NOT CROWBAR NOT CIELO NOT ROXY NOTWEBSTER HALL NOT PALLADIUM.......... THE TUNNEL #1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOUSE MUSIC ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LoL yeah tunnel was great but claiming house music and saying tunnel was better then the others LoL. Dude each club had its own place in history..they were all special to someone.
@@NotoriousBKlol show me these supposed Stats and numbers.... yes tunnel was great but the best ever ? Palladium ? Paradise garage ? What numbers do you refer to ? Crowd size years open events held ? Then sure maybe tunnel since they were open 7 days a week and had multiple rooms and played multiple styles of music. Tunnel might even be more famous for its hip hop nights. And house music wasn't even big at tunnel techno was more popular then. So confused by your comments.
