I'm exactly there man. I just turned 30, my lifesaver, friend, brother in arms and beloved Dog died after only 10 years. Just after that, my Love left me, because I was only holding on to not break with everything that happens. Every year the same, I go good and then, my world breaks apart in the next months. I don't know how I'll ever be good enough for me and next the people around me. Man, 10 years ago I saw me leaving Germany to Canada, because that's where Free Spirits want to go. But I have a hard time leaving my bed. Life is not fair, but I keep holding on..... one day all the good you radiated, every bruise you endured and every scar you closed with fears and tears will come back to you. Believe.

Well said . At 55 my mountains have never ended...pneumonia last Dec. Put my dog down Dec 30th picking up friends drinking I saved them from falling on ice as I did broke my wrist.self employed that destroyed my financial situation and 7 yr relationship he was cheating on me with like 36 women ..I became homeless with no dog bad pneumonia and broken bones in 30 below weather 100% sober nor even pain meds or antibiotics nor any vaccine in 30 plus yrs I know without any doubt HOLDING ON TOO JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY. ❤🙏 🦅 🇺🇸 ✌ PRAYERS TOO ISRAEL 🇮🇱 DAILY. WE ALL HAVE TOO WARRIOR ON ..JESUS DID.

So hard to listen to these lyrics and feel them so deeply and yet this song is so beautiful and to read the comments from others who are also carrying the weight of grief, swimming through life as we weather the storms, it helps... it helps. 🥹 Losing my husband to mental health and alcohol after 27 years together felt like the end of my world. As he always wished, I let him go upon the waves of the sea in a place that looked just like this - beautiful and wild, full of power and still peaceful. Some of his ashes will rest with me when I go, because I'm still holding on to him... I can't let go. No matter where life takes me, even as I grow into a new relationship, my husband will always be a part of my heart that I can't part with. That pain remains. Grief is a journey that never ends, it only becomes a smoother path over time. 💔

Thank you for this beautiful song Jonathan. The lyrics really resonate with me as I watched my son battle an opioid addiction. He lost the battle in 2021 at the age of 26. It’s bittersweet, but listening to some of your songs and videos reminds me that I’m not alone with our human struggles. I’m very spiritual, and many of your songs “speak to my soul”, covering the spectrum of emotions. Anywhere from super happy and optimistic (Beautiful Day), to gut-wrenching and raw. You’re very gifted and talented to be able to “strike a chord” with life’s ups and downs, with your passionate vocals. Love your music and videos…thank you!!
