Now that the season has passed, this is even more sad. Jordan was really excited by the prospect of Jonathan's powers coming in and the two of them having a future as superhero partners. That it was just Jonathan using X-K is disappointing.
REALLY hope they explore that this season. Like…Jon had to realize how much he broke his brother’s heart by lying to him. I REALLY want to hear Jordan tell Jon how much he’s been dreaming about this. It’s SO evident that he wants nothing more than for his brother to be on this insane journey right alongside him and to experience how amazing having powers feels. Actually wrote a whole spec fic about this a few months ago. When we saw in that one trailer that Jordan and Jon-El were going to fight, I theorized that Jon-El would try to reason with Jordan by laying out the FACT both Jonathan AND Jordan want him to actually have powers…and that merging with his doppelgänger could make that happen. A win-win situation…..and yet Jordan would do everything in his power to keep that sadistic photocopy from laying a finger on his brother. That whole plot-line had SO much potential and yet it just anticlimactically and unceremoniously fizzled out………..
@@brianna_d.f6433 His classmates are talking about something pretty serious out loud in the classroom, pretty sure any other student would get curious.
If I remember correctly he had to stop because his super powers were starting to develop and without training his powers first he could reveal the secret that he and his father have super powers.
@@edenramos9686 - It's a matter of scale. During freshman year, Jordan's powers were still very erratic. Like sometimes he was invulnerable, but most of the time he wasn't. By sophomore year, he had just gotten too strong and his powers were still growing rapidly. Jordan had become a tank and his parents couldn't justify letting hapless football players try to tackle him when he was now the Boy of Steel.
