I work a late shift, so my wife and daughter are already asleep when i get home. Often ill sit in my car outside the dark home for a few minutes, walk the long driveway to get the mail, and spend a few minutes in the bedroom doorway listening to them breathing in their sleep. Helps to dull the aches. Inside and out.

As a firefighter, there are so many images that play through my mind listening to this song. Images and thoughts stay so fresh, espically after spending 8+ hours on a fire coaching my son's soccer team a couple of days ago. A hard fought battle to a win and just wanting to spend the rest of the day with my family but being pulled away to help contain the bad decisions of others. There are several songs that have been released recently that hit HARD and have so much truth to them. Keep it up, your work is much appriciated.
