Jonathan Torrens on finding other characters to play other than J Roc 

Jonathon torrents leaving TPB and keeping J-roc in the era of funny TPB was brilliant and he should be applauded

While i miss the fuuuuuck out of J-Roc, I think the move away from the character shows a maturity and self-awareness I see many actors fall short of. Having the ability to fluidly age into more suitable and rewarding roles sets a high bar only the greats achieve.

Too many words from a humble guy. I didn’t even immediately recognize him as Noah Dick, but he absolutely crushed it. The short truth is that he’s extremely sharp and talented, and he’ll do well playing any character thrown at him. KnowuhImsayng? I was gettin’ changed! 🤣💪

While I can agree, JT leaving TPB was the right move at the time...I hope we're not writing off the chance of seeing J-Roc again in the future! Would love an update on 50 year old Jamie!

I most certainly look fondly back on Jroc. He was a great character. You can tell that not only Jroc, bubs, Rick, Julian, Layhey are so smart. The humor is so overly dumb it’s genius. Right place, right time. Love it

I miss J-Roc but I got into Letterkenny and was pleasantly surprised to see Noah Dyck with his own brand of humor. Also, Remy Nadeau in Shoresy. I remember watching Jonovision back in middle school. My favorite sketch was usually "Dreg in the City". Where I grew up, we got Canadian channels due to our proximity to the border and this came on CBC.

I sure miss his character. But good for him

Being a Street Cents fan as a kid, JRoc means little to me. I want to see some updated TV with Jonathan Torrens (I think that's the title). And maybe a Street Sense parody if it was produced in every decade since TV started. Bruce McCullough can play the lead kid.

It was so funny BECAUSE it was already a played out character that we all know. We all know a JRock or two!

Losing J-Roc from TPB is what turned me off of watching it. Don't get me wrong, the show was still funny, but Jamie was the best character in the entirety of the series. Losing John Dunsworth was kind of the nail in the coffin, but I already checked out the year before. At least season 10 you guys got your footing for a great final season for me. 8 and 9 were a bit rocky. Mike Clattenburg really did something special that I think was hard to capture without him.
