I bought pardon me back in like 2010 or whatever and still jam it. kinda fell off for me when you dropped the northern lights portion of your name. anyways. she asked why you aren't a star, or have limited exposure to the mainstream and I gave my opinion. if it hurt your feelings, my bad, but the lo-fi thing is going to be attributed to the black keys in regards to music released right now. in not discrediting your ability to write great music, again pardon me is fantastic and could hold its own with many great albums and will always be a favorite. don't take offense and I'm not being negative. the artists you mentioned all have one thing I common, they were pioneers... personally though I am a little more fond of players like Freddy King, Taj Mahal, and the stuff Duane Allmam sat in on out of muscle shoals. don't take offense, dude, you got awesome stuff. that was just my thought.

Definitely don't need to worry about any negativity man. This song is fantastic as is the entirety of Holy Smokes. If I took the time (and wanted to for that matter) I could find many other artists that could be argued did what the Black Keys did before they came around. Love this stuff.
