A beautiful morning walk through the Jones Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. This 3.5 acre patch of land is the resting place place for many who came before us. It has views across the Tualatin Valley to the Chehalem Mountains. 750 Gravesites were purchased by the Congregation Havurah Shalom in 1986. Burial in those sites is available to Jews and their spouses and children. The Cemetery was established in 1854 by Nathan B. Jones. If you are in Portland, Oregon, stop by and visit this beautiful place. As always, be respectful to those who are resting there. This is a historical site and should be protected.
