I love them! It’s a natural position for hands and arms that takes away sore hands and arm pump. I have loopers on all my bikes now and I would never go back to straights. Thank you, Jeff Jones for making my riding enjoyable again! 🤘👍.

Installed the Jones bar on my Farley. Used the shorter version with large Ergon grips. Have one arm that's had surgery and doesn't like to be torqued by straight bars. These bars were an outstanding solution. The angles are perfect for me with no torque stress put on my arm.

I bought mustache bars from eBay with 31.8 clamp area for $17. They are high quality bars with almost the same sweep back angle and they have allowed me to ride again when my neck rebelled against drop bars. I will never go back.

The swept back handle bars remind me of a classic Dutch city bike...a much more relaxed way of riding

Just for all yours information -this bar is actually a reincarnation of the original bars that came through on most of the mountainbikes of the 80's. It was a chrome/steel bar and it had two posts coming out front the insert section onto the crossbar.

I put a set of profile design aero bars on mine. The bars go underneath the front bar of the jones bar and come up over in front to hold on to. So I have comfortable cups to lay my arms on plus a bar for each hand. Not only that I can still grab the front part of the bar under the arm cups.

i just started riding bikes 18 months ago, my first bike was a retro mtb, my second a dawes tourer, both of them geard up wrong, changed the back cassette, slight improvement, now changing the crank down, and also going to get rid of the drop bars on the dawes, i will replace them with loop bars, if these bike companies dont catch on quick and have optional fittings, then they will end up like norton and triumph, left that far back they can't catch up,

Thanks for video. I'm thinking of converting a mint vintage trek mountain bike, or my Paramount PDG 40, into a commuter / tourer, but want to keep the brakes, and shifters the original Shimano Deore. This bar looks like can do both , keep the shifters, and brakes and good for touring..

I vote to call the new design a D-tail bar. Looks like a D with a tail. 🙂...and it's awesome.

My palms hurt a lot using the Jones 710 handle bar. I don't know why yet. If it is the position of my holding the bar or the bar itself. But, it hurts.

Also how much are those bars... Where you at and do you own a bike shop ..... Yep what a great informational video... I'm looking into a surly big dummy so it's why I think these will work for me... Thanks again...

I would have got one but the bar costs a good chunk of what my 30+ year old bike is worth so I've got a Chinese Seagull bar on order. The Jones bar certainly looks like a good product.
