Jongara= Type of music with a call and response. Bushi= music/song. Now, translation of song "Now everyone, please come here!" "Now, I'm going to sing the Jongara Bushi!" "So, please listen well!" "Ah, when I was a young child, my young heart..." "The song I learned when my mother carried me on her back..." "That's the Tsugaru Jongara Bushi!"
thanks for sharing. this was one of my favorite parts of the movie; it gave me shivers and goosebumps the first time I heard it, and it sent me looking for more shamisen and traditional japanese singing!
@kolargooI i have the entire collection of movies Lone Wolf and 12 Zatoichi films with Shintaro, they really are a true gem and I am very pleased to know that today there are more people who likes true cult movies of the old school of gold this song is in the start menu when you put the film, Zatoichi films with Mr. Shintaro and lone wolf with Mr. Wakayama is a treasure trove of inspiration, thanks for sharing
Here's the translation: "Now everyone, please come here!" "Now, I'm going to sing the Jongara Bushi!" "So, please listen well!" "Ah, when I was a young child, my young heart..." "The song I learned when my mother carried me on her back..." "That's the Tsugaru Jongara Bushi!"

Can anyone tell me more about this form of song? Jongara doesn't seem to mean anything, put a percussive sound, I know the kind of shamisen she's playing is associated with a certain place....she has an amazing vocal technique. I don't even know if she was born w. those cute dimples or her singing style makes them...
She wasn't born with those dimples. They were made by 2 bullets fired into her face by her estranged/jealous husband, back in 1985. The dimples on her ass are said to be natural, though. (Wikipedia).
Jongara is a type of song from Aomori Prefecture. It feature a call and response. Here is the translation: "Now everyone, please come here!" "Now, I'm going to sing the Jongara Bushi!" "So, please listen well!" "Ah, when I was a young child, my young heart..." "The song I learned when my mother carried me on her back..." "That's the Tsugaru Jongara Bushi!"
He didn't want to kill Ichi. He was committing suicide-by-Ichi. Remember where he is talking to Ichi in his room and draws his sword so silently he could have killed Ichi right then, but didn't. That's how good this samurai was, that he could draw and NOT be detected by Ichi.
@@sebastiangrumman8507 I still had a hard time thinking he was a greater foe cause of all the zatoichi Films I have seen there were way worser enemy he fought. I only wish they had a more lengthy fight scene since it was shintaro last film of ichi.
@@swthero Well, perhaps they ran out of ideas or money. But it was very short. As I said he is the only samurai to ever draw his sword and not have Ichi aware. Ichi is so good he can even sense when someone is THINKING of drawing his katana. He had the katana nearly at Ichi's neck and Ichi was not aware. Yes, as it was his last Zatoichi film, and likely to be so, it is too bad they didn't make it epic.
here you go "Now everyone, please come here!" "Now, I'm going to sing the Jongara Bushi!" "So, please listen well!" "Ah, when I was a young child, my young heart..." "The song I learned when my mother carried me on her back..." "That's the Tsugaru Jongara Bushi!"
