My heart hurts. I never had depression before because I knew the one and only Jonghyun was alive. Now that he is gone I am suffering from depression and I have been having suicidal thoughts. I MISS HIM SO MUCH. He meant the world to me. He was the big brother that I never had. I had a huge crush on him. I still do. If only I had been able to meet him before he died. I would have told him that he meant the world to me and that if he goes I go to. But I never got to meet him and now I blame myself for his death. #RIPANGELYOUWILLBEMISSEDGREATLY.
I know exactly how you are feeling. I live with depressions for years now, but they got worse when he died… I also miss him and thought so many times of ending my life, but one thought helped me out of it. And I want to share it with you: He wants us to be happy, to live our life, to miss him, to have the strength he didn‘t have. I want him to be proud of us, so I live my life, think of him, talk to him and miss him. I know it is difficult to go on… but we have to… Look at the other members… they all miss him, but they continue, the honor him, his will and his life… we as his fans have to do the same. It is very sad that after his death every one love him, remember him, give respect ,give attention to him , listen all his songs, appericate him but now it has no use. Now there is no meaning after his death u liked jonghyun and u said he was talented. If u do these things before his death means u did all these when he alive then his life has different. Then maybe he thought how important was his life.... No matter who like him or love him but i always respect him and remember him. He did amazing work. Jonghyun u did perfectionist work than well. I've said this all over social media and people think Im overreacting, I just hope you guy are the ones who understand. He had been crying out for a helping hand for years and yet everyone turned away and ignored it or simply just didn't notice because no one thought it would end like this. His doctor basically told him he was the problem, that it was his fault for being depressed. Mental Illness should not be taken likely. It's not "just in their heads" and they can't just "get over it" You don't see anyone telling a person with cancer to get over themselves or that it'll be fine. No, they are encouraged to get help. Same thing with individuals who have depression, anxiety, Bulimia, Bipolarity, etc... You might not see their struggles and problems but they are there. He wrote songs for us to get out of the same sinkhole of pain he was in; he saved lives. International hero is an understatement. You really did well sweety, Thank you. Thank you for sharing how you felt even though we might not have realized it then. Thank you for encouraging many to get out of the same mental and emotional state that you yourself were in through your music. You taught many that it is okay to say how you feel and that crying doesn't take your right as a man away, it only shows you're human. Sadly, even though you fought for many, you had no strength left to fight for yourself. I just sincerely hope you rest in peace.
