I saw Jonny Lang in outdoor festival in Seattle and he was truly amazing and comfortable in his skin. I was lucky to have seen Stevie Ray Vaughn as well and they both shined with talent. You cant take your eyes off them. Pure Passion. ❤

I used to shoot pool with dad at Bunkers Bar in Minneapolis when he would play there when he was much too young to be in the bar. Back then he went by Kid Jonny Lang and his dad accompanied him everywhere. He was a shy soft spoken kid until you put a guitar in his hand and he came to life.

Bekka Bramlett the girl singing comes from a very musical family. Her mother Bonnie Bramlett was a fantastic singer with husband and wife duo Delaney and Bonnie. Delaney and Bonnie had some of the best musicians in the world play with them. Eric Clapton, Duane Allman, Greg Allman, Leon Russell, George Harrison, King Curtis, Bobby Whitlock, Jim Keltner, etc. etc. etc. Bekka replaced Stevie Nicks for a time in Fleetwood Mac. She was a member of Mick Fleetwoods band The Zoo. She has sang with a huge host of famous singers in duets and as a back up singer.

It is one of the most beautiful songs that you will ever hear. Jonny’s performance is dripping with emotion. I am a lover, collector, and connoisseur of all kinds of music. If “Irish Angel” doesn’t touch you deeply then I don’t know what song will. If you remember me, I kind of unloaded the story of my 29 year old daughter’s death in March of 2023 a couple weeks ago. Well, later this morning, August 16, 2024, I will lay to rest the love of my life. Our first date was on her 16th Birthday and we spent the next 35 years together. On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, she suffered a catastrophic stroke and was gone in the blink of an eye at just 58 years old. I’m having a hard time getting to sleep tonight as it’s 4:30 am U.S. Central Time. The past 17 months have taken half of my family from me. It is something that I don’t understand but I know that we are on God’s schedule not my schedule. They always say that God takes the best ones first, and he definitely got 2 of the very best. My wife was the best and most beautiful lady that I ever met and of course our daughter took after her. Everything that matters in my life was due to my wife and that is a debt that I couldn’t have paid if I were Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos combined. ❤💔😊 These are awesome songs and I just want to share them with you. If you want another awesome blues guitarist to check out, listen to some Kenny Wayne Shepherd. I would start with "Blue On Black." Both guys are excellent, but I do give Kenny the slight nod over Jonny.

His 1st 2 albums were great, 3rd was ok. He became a born again christian at that point and his music suffered. He never regained the momentum his career had
I’ve been listening to this album since it first came out and it’s just as good now as it was then. Every song on this album is amazing, just good old-fashioned blues/rock.I think my favorite song on this album is called “Rack em Up”, give it a listen I’m sure you’ll love it.
