Willing passer, good shooting stroke from 3 and mid range, and he moves pretty well for 6'11" and 240. If he puts on a little more muscle he could be a good pro.
He reminds me of Sam Perkins that use to play for the Lakers and Sonics. Smooth lefty could stroke the 3 ball but also post you up. He is a good player! Could see him with the Hawks next to Collins.
Perfect fit for him is Lakers. Would play Lopez role to perfection. If he enters draft he won’t get pass them. Ball Hart Ingram Kuzma Randle Porter Crazy young TALENT
Skeelife Josh my thoughts exactly although I’m afraid that he’ll shoot up the draft boards following his draft workouts and a team like the Spurs will draft him
Don't get me wrong, I like this guy, BUT that being said, has a history of injury. And that's in college with 2 light games a week. The NBA is a grind, with more physicality. I'm afraid he will go the way of Greg Oden and his like. Injury prone. Blake Griffith. Always healing on the bench. Plays 8 games then out with injury once again. Get's shuffled from team to team, each hoping to get some production out of him. Then another injury. I'll pass.
Mizzou losing MPJ, Barnett and Robertson already... We are royally screwed if JP leaves. If he stays along with Tilmon we can actually reload around them. Have a good SG in Watson on board for next year and a PG in Ramey who is just waiting to see who all goes pro imo. I wouldn't blame JP for leaving but I think he could be drafted even higher if he stays. This year has a TON of elite talent that is pushing him down the board. If he continues to develop like he has so far this year then he could be top 5 next year imo
mike smith ever heard of Domantas Sabonis, Nikola Jokic, Dirk Nowitzki, Larry Bird? This guy can shoot the lights out and is a major over achiever as a passer. How many 6"11 guys do you see that can pass like him and shoot the 3, while being able to post up and rebound. Not very many at all. Being injury prone can't be ignored but you can't write him off before he even gets a chance. That is a very toxic way of thinking. He has a place in the NBA.
