this part of yours is the reason that got me interested. and this song hits hard, not just it's sad, but that is my life story as well. Crazy how i have no idea who you are and will never have, but "being an orphan" thing feels like i met a human being while living on another planet surrounded by aliens :) Do you also feel like something from above helps you with whatever you're doing or helps to get out of bad situations? I guess our parents still do care about us from there, in another way. sorry for a long text
Hits me like a rock. I managed to create a new "thuis", with a great man and kids. Wish you the same, in whatever way/form (not necessary with kids though; they literally hit me with duplo instead of a rock sometimes, not intentionally though)
Dit is op Texel toch? Ik herken de vuurtoren. Zelf schrijf ik poëzie, heb twee bundels uitgegeven. Mijn gedichten zijn zelden vrolijk. Blijkbaar is pijn steeds de krachtigste motivatie om te schrijven. Wat vind ik dit schitterend mooi. Rauw, confronterend, kwetsbaar, door en door authentiek. Ik voel Joost's verlies tot in m'n tenen. "Ik mis ons en ik mis thuis". Hoop dat hij dat weer vindt, thuis. Veiligheid, geborgenheid, eigen, verbondenheid.
