Nah Jordan 1's ain't dead. This is a good shoe, but it's not durable for that reason I passed on them. And it was said they'd retro the reimagined black toes this year which wouldn't instantly make it not 'dead'. Most highs this year worth coppin. There are better lows then high that where good this year. I only bought one AJ 2 and it wasn't a 2023 pair. 💖

I’ve been saying for 2 years now Nike needed to Vault them for a few year’s. Let the pairs in circulation dry up and the HYPE will return 🤷‍♂️ I’m an OG collector and I’m only focusing on OG colorways. 3 years ago was the beginning of the pandemic when everything resold for money. Now it’s back to normal where not many gr’s of anything resell for money. Just buy what you like. Jordan 1’s are still my favorite silhouette regardless.

These are nice shoes. However, I wonder why Jordan brand keeps releasing sneakers that are just an adaptation of the original leather colorway but not the actual thing. Satin Breds, Suede Royals etc. I’d like to know how these decisions are made. Otherwise, I just assume they are doing it to mess with us.

The value of all those satin 1s dropped is because of that toebox. Same with the patent chicago 1s. And icy soles…People want shoes that look good after wearing them more than 2 times…the days of buying new pairs for 2 wears is ovah. Plus you cant resell those even after one wear.
