FLOOR PARTYYYYY. I don't know what is going on internally, but when UCLA rally together they are so great. I'm happy this meet went this way, I think the team needed the Pauley energy in the last rotation to remind them what they're here for: to have fun and enjoy themselves TOGETHER.
This is the best weekend of ncaa gymnastics in many years and it just started. A lot of well-deserved tens and phenomenal performances from Michigan, Florida, Utah, UCLA, Kentucky, Alabama, Missouri
I loved her floor but her bars were glorious. Holding those handstands. My daughter keeps asking to see her routine (and Sekai's) over and over. I love this for her, she deserves all the happiness.
this is why i love NCAA. as an elite, Jordan always had amazing tumbling but also had some more raggedy dance elements and relatively uninspired choreography. However, now she gets to showcase her great tumbling and some cleaner dance elements alongside fun, engaging choreography and a performance factor that is through the roof. Way to go kid!
How smart was Jordan to hit the floor when she realized the 10 and the sheer force of hand slaps, back pats and hugs was coming from every angle! LOL 😆🥰💖 Can you imagine the exuberance and energy these Elite ladies are able to enjoy in the move from Olympic to Collegiate. Then the crowd being back is a huge difference between just a short 6 months ago in Japan. So happy for all the ladies and the Tokyo team who exceeded I think every expectation of them. Jordan, Grace, Jade and Suni all scored a 10 this week. Kyla Ross should feel great to have given all these Olympians a real goal challenge to match her 22 tens in 4 years. (Ps. Kyla recognized openly as #1 in # of Collegiate 10s is actually tied for 3rd. Jenny Hansen (Kentucky) 28, Jamie Dantzscher (UCLA) 28. Hope Spivey(Georgia) 24. In recent years, Kyla Ross and Maggie Nichols have come close to approaching this record with 22 perfect 10.0s a piece)
I mean Everytime you think you have seen the best of them it gets better. These ladies need to know that they are becoming world wide Stars. I am German and I am here looking for more videos. Because Sekai's video reminded me hey it's that time of the year apparently, UCLA is back it. This performance right here was more than a 10,can we give her 15 or so!? Lol. These ladies get me hyped every time.
I LOVE the dancing! You are so awesome! You are my IDOL and I wish to meet you some day Jordan! I've always wanted to be like you and you are my favorite gymnast ever!
LOVE IT so so much. Much more enjoyable to watch than the Olympics. for me anyway.. I love that they can all be who they ARE.. and toss in some wiggles while doing it.
So Ceceal and Laurant, talk me through the choreo thought process leading up to tokyo. I am genuinely curious how you looked at chiles choreography and said "this works".
I love it. I need her to change the leap pass. That wolf 1.5 is a little suss, but I am not mad at the 10. I probably would've gone 9.950 ...but...details. This was awesome.
Theoretically there is... but in NCAA they don't take it unless it's really egregious. In elite it's just a built in deduction that everyone gets because those are the easiest D-passes.
@@rebeccasilver2181 Flexed feet aren't a built in deduction in double tucks or double pikes. Judges don't give everyone deductions for flexed feet on those skills.
OK, I need someone to answer this question please... I've only gotten into watching gymnastics seriously in the last couple of years so many things are still a mystery to me. My question is... why aren't/can't elite floor routines be as fun and full of life as college gymnastics routines? Why do they only use classical or instrumental type music in elite? I know there's a big difference between level 10 and elite but I was just wondering why, for example, we can't watch floor routines with this kind of energy and fun but still high skills at the Olympics? Is there an actual reason or is it just an unwritten rule? I also get that elite is more big skill focused and not quite so much on the dance element but still... it'd be so much more fun to watch.
Wonder do the other gymnast get jealous because she has been on elite and is an Olympican,I heard that college routine is water down to what and how they perform in elite so it must be easier for them
Great for Jordan but these UCLA routines are becoming increasingly similar and repetitive...Needs a bit more creativity in their choreography now...Of course that's me holding them to very high standards! :) Love them.
she isn’t even close to be considered overweight lol so idk where you got that from. and she’s certainly as good of a gymnast to be scoring perfect 10s
